Yeah. It's strange though as I used to be great at playing online and really had the patience to wait for the good cards but can't do it anymore. Where as at a real table, I don't mind it as I can study all the other players more and just talk away anyway and enjoy it.

Confusion... Apparently I just finished the solo medium tour on drums even though when I go to the select difficulty screen it says I've only done 45 out of 67 songs!? Whats the dealio?

Uch I was going nicely and had slowly built up to about £50 for my original fiver just playing 5/10p tables for a few days and then bottomed out with some seriously unlucky draws just like Poet has been describing above so didn't bother putting more money in. I can't seem to play this online properly anymore. I have no patience for it on the internet now. Went to a home game though the other night and won £50 though, played 6 hands the whole night and won 5 of them to win the whole game. Only hand I lost was when someone went all in on flush draw for some reason after flop and hit runner runner diamond to beat me!

Is it really easy from now on, really strange isn't it if thats the case.

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO Finished it! Man that was tough, just left the bass pedal out of the tricky section and focused on getting the Y - RY - R - RY section perfect, saved my star power til later on which gave me lots of wee breaks too as it kept trying to make me use it. Finished it with 79% and 107 note streak. So happy!

Hehe, so my anger with the drums is over for now, I put them on again to go through all the songs I've done already and 5 star them. I do love the drums so much, its great fun, I'm just annoyed at GGaHT. Apparently it's back to the same kinda thing again after that song too, nothing more anywhere near as hard as that on the Medium tour?

Nope I'm quitting! Playing Guitar on Hard and actually enjoying it as I can 5 star these songs first try. I don;t even know how to use overdrive, it always does it itself when I finish a solo thing, so don't know how to use it when you want like tilting the guitar!?

It's ridiculous. I don't care if I can't do it on hard or whatever but it's some you can slowly get better at if the songs they put down for you are gradually harder than the last but this is just fucking stupid and whoever chose this song for this set is a fucking retard. I can't do it, drums are going away now. Bring out the guitar instead.

This song is just fucking stupid. Why put it in here, it's such a step up difficulty wise from the other songs in that setlist. I passed them all first time without blinking. I tried doing just bass pedal and yellow there throughout that and it worked until 89% when more variation came and I couldn't keep up. It's so long though, Why put this in here. It just annoys me.

Arghh this is infuriating, I'm failing at 60% now! Can't do it for some reason. I tried leaving the bass pedal but my left hand keeps lagging behind for the reds and I can't get it done in time, It's really annoying me now as I'm pretty much 100% on notes hit up until that point.

Stupid fucking Green Grass song! I'm playing Medium drums and everything has been fine until this song, always fail it at 62% percent. It just gets alot harder than anything before, too much of a jump! THe part where you have RY - Y Pedal - RY - Y Pedal, and so on. It's too fast for me and is definitely more complex than anything else so far on the Medium tour but it's just too hard a jump. I hate when this happens.

Here this game aint half bad is it! Spent hours playing yesterday, guitar is awesome as usual but the drums fucking hurt like shit using the pedal. My legs were killing me last night. Couldn't get comfortable with it, was always awkward for me to use. Really takes a lot of concentration for drums but I'm hoping I'll still get better! Where though is the best place to buy the noise dampening pads for the drums. As it is ridiculously noisy. Do they reduce the sensitivity of the drums by using pads though? Advise me please!

Eventually decided to get this, but looking around the internet, can see there are no decent deals for this and it's still £140 on play, amazon, etc. Anyone know any better deals at all?

Good advice to hear since I'm using Max then. I heard from someone in year above me in Uni they use Lightwave but you don't need to so I think I'll continue with Max, seems better to me having used Lightwave a year or so ago. Utero, do you fancy posting that saltburn video again, would love to see the finished product as alot of the images in the thread don't work anymore!

Yeh that was luckily one of the first things I seen when reading up on this so I turned on the symmetry modifier saving a lot of time! Just been reading up on texturing/UVmapping. Looking really complicated but everything I see is using some sort of plugin to unwrap it and then use Photoshop for example to draw your texture. Can 3DS Max not do this manually or is a plugin needed?

Oh yeh so it is! I think it was the first shape I made actually when I booted this up for the first time. I did laugh when I seen it. Check this out, spent hours on this today. It's coming along nicely I think considering I've only got into this, still got rear rotor and missiles to do and then the dreaded texturing if I can learn how to do that well. I'm 'blueprinting' for this, got a top, side and front view drawings set up as planes to use as reference, works really well. Is that how the majority of people work when modelling a particular item like this?

Just had a skim through this thread mate... absolutely stunning. Never seen painting like that before, it's astonishing. Really impressed. Keep it up! Is this your profession? What is it you do, I would love to be able to paint like that but I am just terrible at it.

Damnit, you know when you are moving, scaling, rotating etc you get the on screen 3 pronged icon for moving on the X, Y, or Z angle. It just suddenly gone and I can't find the option to return it. So when I move something for instance now, it's freehand instead of the option of moving it just straight along one certain axis! Don't even know what it's called to search the help for it! SCRAP THAT!! Found it, they're called gizmo's apparently! And somehow transform gizmo's were turned off, I must have hit a keyboard shortcut for it without noticing or something! Check these MUGS I made today, state of the art eh!
