  1. Because that's what the agreement said to do. The separate statement that should be added to the video descriptions isn't this, but is mentioned in there as a further requirement.
  2. Side question, Mr. Dogg III. Any idea when this issue (and the current SFX, come to think of it) will make their way on to Readily? No sign of them just yet.
  3. Bought a Switch with this yesterday, redeemed my coins for a card copy of the game through the console shortly afterwards... haven't received a code for Piranha Plant through email as yet. Should I be concerned?
  4. It's on Readly as of this morning, and looks like it'll be on Google Play in a bit too (the old issue has popped up to the top of the listings, which tends to happen just before the update). I do also subscribe to the print edition too, y'know. I just tend to like reading it when travelling about, and it's easier to do that with the Readly copy. When I'm at home I read the print one.
  5. Still nothing on Google Play, Readly etc...
  6. Won't get a chance to go back there for a few days now, so my chances of being able to help are minimal - it's in the WH Smiths on Gentleman's Walk, if that helps anyone.
  7. I've also spotted one in Norwich - but as someone not that worried about Dark Souls and who already has their own subscription copy, I've left it there. For now.
  8. Similarly to some of those who have already commented, I really hope there's a special edition or something coming soon. While the content is as high quality as ever, and the covers are nice, the covers are also the only thing that really seem special. Which is a bit disappointing for a 25th anniversary. Heck, my wife's 1000th issue of Heat magazine seems to have more special content befitting an anniversary....
  9. There has been no confirmation of the price going up in the UK, just in some other European countries.
  10. Robocraft Infinity was first when it arrived on 11th April, surely?

    EDGE 315

As if by magic, it just appeared.

    EDGE 315

Total Film turned up on them both on Friday. Official Playstation Magazine is still missing, presumed lost to the void. Digital copies are GREAT, eh?

    EDGE 315

By contrast, both the Official Playstation Magazine and Total Film are out now in newsagents, but not on Google Play or Readly. So best keep whoever's doing those two away from Edge... (It's going to be all the same people, isn't it?)

    EDGE 315

Not this time it isn't... still the Final Fantasy issue on there at the moment as the latest one. The other Future magazines released in the last week or so seem to have made it, though... Official Xbox and PC Gamer are showing up as the new issue, for instance.
  15. No sign of my subscription copy as yet (yes I'm in the UK), and the postman's just been for today. Should I be concerned? (edit) Scrap that, he's just come back with it.

    Edge #311

So. What's this Edge Annual thing that's advertised in the magazine, then?
  17. I despair. How is it not obvious that, when responding to a post which reads: ...that this reply... ...is needlessly aggressive and personally-focused, rather than actually addressing or discussing the topic at hand in any way?
  18. I prefer to think of it as Benny, the person who had an opinion which he expressed in a thread which asked for peoples opinions.
  19. I doubt the one on the top-right here has one of those things:

  21. Gameplay trailer now out:
  22. I nearly bought a magazine yesterday, on the back of it claiming to have features on both Knightmare and Rick & Morty on the cover. Two things I'm a fan of. Before buying, though, I decided I'd have a quick flick through first. I'm glad I did. The Knightmare article seemed to basically be endless padding to fill out a word count, while the Rick & Morty article was basically a list of episode synopses. It seemed like someone had just paraphrased the Netflix episode descriptions across six pages with lots of images to fill out the room. Makes me appreciate Retro Gamer a lot more, especially this issue, which might as well have been written especially for me. 8 pages on Road Rash, 8 pages on Amiga 500, 8 pages on Disney games, and each article with loads of stuff I didn't actually already know. Basically, Strider - in a world where some seem happy to just regurgitate Wikipedia, pass Go and collect £200, the continued effort of you and your team and the quality of the subsequent articles is appreciated.
  23. Hmmm. I have spotted that myself too sometimes, tbh. A couple of games I've downloaded free trials (supposed to be time limited) are say the trial expires in somewhere over one million days time...
