  1. I'm liking the pre-release. Frost Mage doesn't seem to have changed much, but it was great fun anyway. The biggest change for me is the fact that you don't have to grind to unlock all of the PvP talents now, so I'll be able to alt easily enough.
  2. It isn't, but it definitely could have been
  3. Same setup, but now with a dinosaur head for some additional extra lighting...
  4. Managed to get level 20 last night and got to ~215 light. Time to start hunting some exotics now (despite already owning 6 which seems weird). As a Titan, is there owt I should be on the lookout for?
  5. Cheers @Oz. Sent a request through. I'm only level 10 at the minute, but that was because I got to level 7 and decided I didn't like my hair colour...
  6. Hey all, so which clan has the majority of PC players in then?
  7. Where do PC players live? I'm assuming this is just the PS4 crew?
  8. Only it isn't is it? There's a video right there proving it. The crosshair is at his feet, he shoots and begins to ADS. As his ADS is complete, AA has automatically tracked onto his head for the two follow up shots.
  9. This is my PC setup, all my consoles are still in the living room which I won't be posting coz my TV stand is shite and all my wires are visible When I have my own place, I definitely want one of them projectors like @Paulando has
  10. I was really intrigued by this. It's one of them games I wanna go into completely blind and explore. All the enemies looked insanely weak, but they were only grunts it seemed and they were showcasing the stronger mortar and lock on missile cooldown type weapons. I'm sure there's plenty of decent fights to be had with stronger enemies like the huge monster which they bypassed at the start. I'm also a sucker for loot and customisation. Having your character not tied to a specific javelin suit is a great step too because it means you don't have to commit to being a tank or a DPS.

  13. I always enjoy PvP more in games like this, but reducing the amount of talents for balance is a shit thing to do. I get that PvP needs to be balanced, but not by simplifying everything to the point that there's very little customisation. WoW had the same problem in that often PvE talents were too overpowered for PvP (or vice versa, but less often I'll admit) and would get nerfed into the ground making that class rubbish in PvE. It was only recently they finally implemented the change which meant you had separate PvP and PvE talents and certain abilities worked differently in a PvP environment. I also don't like the sound of removing all defensive traits from classes. I played a Titan back in launch and loved being a bubble boy. Is all that stuff definitely confirmed to be removed? Or are we just speculating at the moment? Either way, I'll be picking up Destiny 2 now that it will be available on PC. I'll finally be able to aim instead of relying on punching people inside my bubble to be effective
  14. These drawings created by Reddit user shurueder are amazingly cute
  15. You'll be fine. I never played a huge amount initially (over a year ago) but came back to redeem the bundle and managed to get MvP in like my 3rd game. I only play unranked at the moment though. I was also sent a whisper after winning which read "get cancer you fucking hacker cunt" which was nice.

No? I dunno man, they always seem to do well and everyone seems to rate them highly (I only play Lawbringer now after starting out as a PK). Same can be said for the triple stab buff too though. Only way they'll ever land it is if you fail. Just roll another class for a bit whilst assassin's die down. Go for Shugoki and break their backs for a change

I honestly don't think the balance is so bad that it ruins the game. I know PKs and Orochi can spam left and right far quicker than Nobushi, Raider, Lawbringer and Shugoki can keep up and being beaten by someone simply spamming left / right lights is bullshit. Lawbringer's have their Shove ability (which can be used after a block) to disrupt their chain and Shugoki have hyper armour so I think they have some form of defence against it. Raiders and Nobushi don't have much else other than their range. However at the same time, Nobushi is considered top tier in both 1v1 and 4v4 game modes. So it's not like they're in a shit position, it's just that one thing. Complaining about PK's triple stab damage is amusing too considering all a Nobushi has to do is get a bleed on you, GB and then top heavy for like half of your health

Haha Previously, you could lose out on a GB by a fraction which meant you automatically lost the GB and could not counter it. So if I go for a GB on you, but you press GB just slightly after mine, you will grab me and it would be impossible for me to counter. The way it will work now is the way it worked in beta. So I press GB, you press it slightly after mine so grab me instead. But instead of this being uncounterable, I can now counter GB it. I'm sure there's an easier way of explaining that, but yes, it is very good and removes a huge element of the random bullshit that makes you get insta-killed because you pressed a button first by like a millisecond

You main Nobushi don't you? So you'll have the same problem as me as LB who have like 1/3 the guard speed of most other classes. So yeah, you're gonna get destroyed by left right spam of PK / Orochi. I don't mind the bleed bug being fixed though, the triple stab is meaningless otherwise and it's only 25 damage, admittedly to an already strong class. But I don't think the bleed is the problem. With the GB change meaning you won't get fucked simply because you pressed the button slightly before the other person making their GB uncounterable. The light attack spam being unblockable by reacting with Nobushi, Raider, Lawbringer and Shogoki because their guard speed is so slow to actually keep up is fucked though and something needs to happen for that.

You will have joined a Skirmish instead of an Elimination. For some reason, they were within the same game mode (Deathmatch) and it was random which you get (you could set a preference by going into the settings for Deathmatch though). This was changed yesterday with a seamless patch though, so they should appear as separate game modes now. New patch notes out too which should be live today: No love for the Lawbringer unfortunately

I'm on PC as well. Came across this on Reddit too for blocking speeds: Warden: 12 Conqueror: 12 Peacekeeper: 13 Lawbringer: 4 Kensei: 13 Shogoki: 4 Orochi: 12 Nobushi: 4 Raider: 4 Warlord: 13 Berserker: 13 Valkyrie: 12

Warden is OP tbh Parrying is dependant on the attack they're throwing out, despite being able to parry lights, I only ever attempt to parry heavies or unblockables (as a Lawbringer, it makes no sense to even risk the parry of a light because you can block and then shove instantly as part of his moveset). You need to press your heavy just as their attack indicator blinks though, so when you see the red bar for an incoming attack flash, that's when you need to press it. For guardbreaks, you press it as soon as the icon appears over your character (when contact is made by the enemy). The first icon to appear which shows over the enemy is a warning to say there is a guardbreak coming. The second is the queue to counter.

Did a bit more Lawbringer last night so I'm currently Prestige 1, Rep 12 or something. Had a nice time on River Fort where I controlled B for ages. Skewering people off the edge, pushing them into the fire and then blowing them up with Igneus Imbers. That's the thing about Dominion too, the zoning attack of a Lawbringer combined with the Lvl 1 talent of Body Count (health and stam for killing soliders) means you can farm up quite quickly. Four stacks of Second Wind means you can survive for bloody ages too, assuming you don't get ledged. Really good that they are changing guardbreak counter back to how it was in Beta too (currently you can't counter a GB during a GB attempt which sucks). I think the Lawbringer needs a slight buff to their guard speed though. Switching from left to right is so fucking slow that you just get mullered by any decent Orochi/Peacekeeper who can mix up left and rights incredibly quickly. It's also annoying that when you deplete their stamina, they can dash the full distance. I think that needs to change. Still love the game though
