I haven't read anything about the different weapons. What are the major differences? There seem to be two choices in each class of weapon, is one better than the other? Also, love the vigilante missions too, donning a suit, shades and solely using your pistol on criminals on foot instantly makes you feel like a badass.

Nate Dogg, my Zavvi 360 Special Edition just arrived a few minutes ago. I got no shipping email and my order still says "In Progress" even now, so they weren't kidding when they said they haven't updated their system at all. Came in a Royal Mail van, I didn't have to sign for it. I'm also pleased because they threw in 3 Months of Xbox live, which they said would only apply for the normal editions. Hope you all get yours... GTA 4 GET!

Ordered my special edition 360 version from Zavvi back in January.... Still "In Progress"... I won't be happy if I don't get this tomorrow...

Right guys, i joined the elite few who've experienced a GTA4 dream last night. A few facts from my little play test. - I was playing the 360 version, controls brilliantly, although I noticed a few frame drops unfortunately. - Bicycles are still in it! You can use RB to bunnyhop! - There's a first person mode, I couldn't work out how to turn it on or off, it just kind of happened. - You can go up to a burnt out car and press Y to get in it. You then lift the car up around you and can go running around Flintstones style while Niko makes car noises. No joke. Dream review - 10/10

Heh that wasn't in the original Fable I don't think. In the original Fable the Sword of Aeons WAS the most powerful weapon in the game, completely overpowered in fact, but by that point you'd already completed it, so it just meant you were an absolute combat beast. Loved it. Anyway, glad we got that sorted, I was getting very confused.

I admit it's been a while since I played Fable, but i definately remember the Sword Of aeons being significantly more powerful than any other weapon in the game, not just from a story point of view but actual damage wise too, and The weapon FAQ and Legendary Weapon FAQ on gamefaqs seem to back this up. Anyway, you've made me determined to double check when I get home from work tonight lol. Out of interest, are you playing the plain originial xbox version? Or lost chapters/Pc version etc? Edit - From that Gamefaqs link in your post: NOTE: This sword's strength has been dramatically reduced in The Lost Chapters. If you spare your sister, you will get a copy of this sword that is exactly the same, but looks different. (Avo's Tear) Heh, problem solved. I played just the original Fable. We're both right

Where are you getting your figures from? The Gamefaqs weapon FAQ lists them as thus: Solus Great Sword - 314 Sword of Aeons - 550

Wasn't there a PSP advert that contained some rather obvious racial undertones?
