  1. Magic Rock are great but my favourite Yorkshire breweries are Brass Castle and Bad Seed both of which are in Malton. If you see any of their beers you should definitely give them a try.

  2. Few months on and I honestly can't recommend Bunnahabhain 12 highly enough. £35 a bottle and frankly I prefer it to bottles that cost double that, perfect salty, sweet, very lightly peated whisky

  3. Yeah I'm guessing I was unlucky with the case issues on the Chun Li TE2 I had. I'd have happily tried the Ryu version if they weren't sold out everywhere.

Instead I ended up getting the TE stick with the Shadaloo Skull artwork which cost £30 less.

  4. For once I've actually seen all the best picture nominations and for me it should be Room that takes it. I've no idea how The Martian got nominated and Carol didn't!

Also hope Deakins finally gets his Oscar but being realistic I think he's gonna lose out to Lubezki.

  5. I got one of the Mad Catz Chun Li TE2 sticks delivered today, what a disaster!

First off there's a crack in the white bezel on the front.

Second the plastic feels really crappy and the hinged front doesn't close flush. This means it makes an annoying creaking sound when you apply any sort of pressure.

Lastly the holographic artwork on the front looks terrible in person, it's really washed out looking. Really disappointed considering it cost £180!

Its going straight back to Amazon for a refund. Think I'll try a Hori RAP 4 instead.

  6. I wouldn't drink any cask strength whisky without a splash of water to be honest.

I got a bottle of Bunnahabhain 12 the other day because I wanted to try an Islay whisky that isn't heavily peated. Must say its a very nice drop, it's got an interesting salty, seaweedy character about it, very different to my other sherry cask matured whiskies.

  7. I'm always up for games on the PS4. This game is brilliant and its a shame its going to end up not being that popular.

I've had some incredible "f**k me" moments, its a massive change after playing lots of BF4. I was also pretty skeptical about the operators system but it actually works really well and the various special abilities are well balanced. Although I am getting sick of people using Fuze on hostage rescue missions as they inevitably end up killing the hostage.

  8. I've been on a bit of spending spree lately as well picked up:

    Benromach 12

Bruichladdich Islay Barley (I was finding this really harsh but its growing on me)

Hibiki 12 (Had no idea what this was going to be like but its amazing stuff assuming you like sweeter whisky)

    Ardbeg Uigeadail

And finally the best bottle I've bought Glengoyne 21 Year! I've a friend who was able to get me a bottle of this for £40 rather than the £120 it retails for.

That lot should keep me going for a while!
