  1. So the first DLC turned up. 3 cars. 1 livery, neon underlighting that feels like it absolutely should have been a minimum requirement for the base game and 4 jpegs to use online Eight Quid.
  2. Ugh, the sad thing is there's a perfectly reasonable little Forza and Furious there, probably much better than SMS' attempt at that concept. But that card thing murders it dead for me.
  3. They don't have a console to sell and it's about 1/3rd the price of GamePass at RRP so it's really not super surprising.
  4. Oh god no, you'd have to ban alcohol entirely, probably also food in the concourse and given they can't and won't enforce sitting down they certainly can't enforce silence. And in this country, who the fuck other than Arsenal fans would even go to a silent match.
  5. Yeah, always remember Sauber have 1 seat, the other belongs to Ferrari. What this tells me is Ferrari are bringing in Mick and Sauber want a mentor presence. I imagine the new chilled out midpack Kimi will have absolutely no issue with that. Mick is absolutely a 2nd year driver, just pop on Wikipedia and look at his jr single seater record but its universally "Midfield year 1, win or 2nd year 2".
  6. Speaking of Wimbledon it's in this nice cheap bundle on ebay that I have all 8 of already. BIN for £50 shipped is pretty nice for that. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/sega-master-system-games-bundle/124337846835?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131231084308%26meid%3D60403799dcbb45c99e8ee0028e5754e1%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D264891722534%26itm%3D124337846835%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DDefaultOrganic&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109
  7. Wimbledon was a staple on my cousin's SMS back in the day, I'd not played the 2nd until I got it recently but you're basically spot on with the entire post. 2 doesn't have the music from 1 that is most of my memory of the game.
  8. Yeah I've only driven past Anfield but I see it. Kennilworth Road too, basically crammed up against a road and a housing estate. Conversely if they still used it, the Ricoh could be managed pretty well.
  9. To the sounds of screaming from Lorfarius, I'm up to 174. I can assure you that Impossible Mission was cheaper than cart only copies of it.
  10. Yeah it was 92gb on release so I'm not surprised. I'd install it again to see how it is on new PC but 92gb at 1.6MB/sec is not something I want to face
  11. There are SMS1s with Alex Kidd, I have one. But yes, most are the Safari Hunt / Hang on variant and there are a few that only have the SECRET SNAIL MAZE GAME There are people who have modded an SMS2 to do RGB but all SMS1s do. Other benefits of the SMS1 are the ability to play card games and the ability to use the 3D glasses.
  12. I have no idea how you'd get any number of people into Stamford Bridge with its 2 exits, both on the same side and single tiny tube station without it being entirely socially disastrous.
  13. Yeah I'm the same but sort of the opposite. I've got 2 of the 5 rarest UK Master System games going by CEX pricing. But they're just part of my collection, I bought them both cheap back in the day. I'm not selling them the same way I'm not selling Desert Strike, value about a fiver and they don't mean anything more to me than games like that. I've not got them because they're rare, I've got them because they're games that exist for my favourite old console.
  14. Yeah there's not a huge amount you'd want to crack this for, maybe some translations.
  15. That's a unique version of Quest Arrest too. This is what I hoped they'd do, for obvious reasons these games physically on their native machines have tiny runs and cost full price just for that (Quest Arrest was £35). And those people would probably still want those spangly versions but this provides both a revenue stream for people like John Roo as well as the chance for the rest of us to play these easily on a machine.
  16. Ah, the "F1 Family" approach.
  17. Yeah, you'd think a PS4 would do better, although you can see the advantage of being able to do lighting better the actual players are, well...PS3y.
  18. I remember him being internal QA at Microsoft before Turn 10 so it seems likely he worked on it but not in the sense you're implying.
  19. Technically there really is, but GT the problem is they would have to licence again all the cars AND the music. It'd probably be cost prohibitive to even figure out who you'd licence some of the defunct ones FROM. It's a shame though because on the face of it you're absolutely right.
  20. When the consoles turned into PCs. Also that's rather the trouble, there aren't a lot of hot new games.
  21. They couldn't sell Gran Turismo on that service so that'd already be a fail but no, it'd cost a hell of a lot more than that even to port the PS Classic emu across and that's before having to test quite a lot of games they didn't test for the PS Classic.
  22. Yeah, it's an astonishingly good conversion of an overrated game.
  23. True Pinball was also on Saturn if that disqualifies it.
  24. True Pinball was a continuation of the Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions trilogy technically yes, albeit as mostly a 3d remake of Illusions with a table that didn't make the Amiga version. Speedball 2100's biggest problem was a better attempt at the same thing (Dead Ball Zone) already existed on the machine. Neither were a patch on either original game of course.
