Online gambling as an income/source of money?
Doppleganger replied to Elliott's topic in Gaming Unplugged
A previously stated the MSE Gambling Loopholes forums is a good place to start. Lots of sign up offers, for example Deposit £50, get £25 free. All you need to do is lay off your bets at as close an odds a possible. -
Great list, thanks.

Just got a cheap ipod touch from fleabay and loving the (mainly free) games so far. To those who have been ipod gaming for a while, can you recommend any games with good controls in these styles: Mirco Machines/Super Sprint Defender/Dropzone Battlezone/Encounter Thurst/Sub-Terrania Boulderdash/Repton/Dig-Dug Hypersports/Track & Field Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I may have to go down the hacking route then. I have a PSP Slim (not 3000) which hasn't had the firmware updated for about a year. What are my options if I want MD and NES emulators on it without bricking it?

I'm new to emus and can't be arsed with anything complicated. But would like a Megadrive emu that will play Virtua Racing for either the PSP (without hacking it) or the DS. Does an emu like that exist? Thanks. P.S A NES Emu would be nice too.

Thanks guys. I'm happy with that. The winning bidder hasn't paid or sent any emails yet, but I've already sold another one for £150 using eBay's "second chance offer". If the winning bidder does pay up I will only have one left, but that one has a torn box. I may keep it or sell for a reduced price.

Was it around 2003 when the Indonesian sea-pirates sold the Sega Megajet on eBay and lots of people on here did a co-op buy of them? The story has become quite infamous now I believe. Anyway, I ended up buying about a dozen at the time , sold 9 and forgot about the other three. A couple of days ago whilst clearing out the loft in readiness of us moving house I found them. All boxed and in mint condition. In a shameless bit of advertising, I have one now on sale on eBay. If anyone here buys it I will knock off a fiver from the final price. http://sega.wikia.com/wiki/Sega_Mega_Jet

Yeah, that's what I thought about VR. Not sure why Sub-Terrania (excellent Thrust clone) isn't working. Anyone got this to work?

Virtua Racing won't work on the Megadrive emu, and I can't get Sub-Terrania to work either.

Times are hard and I may have to sell my Neo Geo Pocket Color Collection. Not sure what prices are like at the moment, but I have some fairly rare games. They are all Mint UK Clamshell versions. King of Fighters Puzzle Bobble Mini Cool Borders Sonic Pocket Adventure Shanghai Mini (very rare I think) Metal Slug 1 and 2 Match of the Millenium Fatal Fury Puyo Pop Mystery Bonus (casino game) The Last Blade Crush Roller Puzzle Link Card Fighters (Capcom Version) Card Fighters (SNK Version) Biomotor Unitron Pac-Man Neo Turf Masters Dark Arms Dive Alert (Becky's Version) Cheers!

This was mentioned in Retro Gamer a couple of months ago but I can't find it available for sale anyway. http://kotaku.com/5302725/new-sega-handheld-coming

I hope you didn't pay Iain Lee for his article. It must have taken him all of about 4 minutes to come up with and write down.

What games mags are you reading these days?
Doppleganger replied to James Lyon's topic in Discussion
Retro Gamer and Web User are the only mags I get these days. -
In the past you have done the top 25 games of certain genres, but how about doing the best 50 or 100 games for each format? C64, Spectrum, Amiga, Snes etc...
