Kinda... It's a fan made project. Only a PC demo of the first few areas available at present. Its incredibly impressive though. And it has a better photomode than a lot of AAA releases. Details here: https://t.co/5tM5EUP2qG -
I find Rite of Storms is the best way to deal with them... temporarily disabling them before pummelling them to death with rockets.

Kicking the new year off with a few of my favourites from 2021. Chorus (PC) Tomb Raider: The Dagger of Xian Demo (PC) Guardians of the Galaxy (PS5) Mass Effect Legendary Edition (PS5) Dirt 5 (PS5) -
Very true, this is how I got through 2021 without drastically increasing my backlog. Only ended the year with 2 games still relatively unplayed. Whilst not going as drastic as only 1 game a month, Ive found the balance of only having one "big" game and an indie title on the go at the same time has worked a treat. Then play them through to completion (so long as I'm actually enjoying them) and then move on to the next. Its resulted in one of my most productive (in terms of completion rates) and enjoyable years of gaming in a long while. Highly recommended.

Your game of the year, not released this year - 2021 edition
Yewone replied to Jamie John's topic in Discussion
Easy one for me... Half-Life Alyx. After having a significant PC upgrade back in February this was my first stop and boy it didn't disappoint. Felt like a genuine ground-breaking moment in my game playing history, and years ahead of the competition in term of offering a complete VR gaming package. Proving without a doubt its validity as a genuine gaming platform moving forward.. -

By far my most successful year in-terms of completion rate. Really managed to cut back on my backlog and surplus purchases too, resulting in me actually enjoying gaming a hell of a lot more. Can safely say its been one of my best years gaming in a long time. As for my favourites from the year: Favourite game completed released in 2021: Deathloop Favourite game completed not released in 2021: Half-Life Alyx Look forward to tackling my 2022 progress.

Only a single page devoted to this awesome game... shame on you Rllmuk. These past few months have delivered surprise release after surprise release for me.. and Chorus is up there as one of my best this year. I could rave on about pretty much every aspect of the game but the standout factor by a mile is the combat controls... It's just so well implemented, you feel perfectly intune with the craft and it makes every combat encounter a genuine joy. If you've had even a passing interest in the likes of Everspace or Star Wars Squadrons then this is an absolutely essential purchase. It's also a bloody good looking game:

A bit of Forza Horizon 5 in keeping with the current weather -
Just finished this and absolutely adored it. Gameplay definitely took second place to the narrative but it was no worse off for it. Biggest gaming surprise of 2021 by a mile. Obviously loved the photomode too 😉
