  1. My neighbour's band... http://frenchpopdream.com/ “Like Francoise Hardy singing Isobel Campbell in Camera Obscura’s back room…” – Gill Mills, Amazing Radio.
  2. That's a broad collection. Leica don't make a 35mm, do they? Did you mean 15mm? This has never been cheaper: http://www.jessops.com/online.store/categories/products/panasonic/8mm-f3-5-fisheye-lens-h-f008e-77788/show.html?cm_mmc=td-_-affiliate_name-_-advert_id-_-236543 But this is the ultra-wide daddy, obv... http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001V9KG3A/ref=asc_df_B001V9KG3A14855106?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&tag=cpbcouk-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B001V9KG3A
  3. Anyone interested in producing high-quality prints at home? I've won an awesome Epson Sure Color SC P600 A3 printer - but, sadly, I don't have room for it in our flat. Happy to let it go for £400 (plus courier) - that's £100 or 20% off typical sale price. It's brand spanking new, unopened. Comes with complete set of inks. Offering here before anywhere else, btw.
  4. Haven't been paying attention to new hardware for months. Yongnuo making cheap lenses, I see...!? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yongnuo-EF-YN-50mm-1-8/dp/B00QIIMEMK
  5. Aye. Was annoyed the 24mm pancake is EF-S. Fisheyes are lots of fun. I have a MFT Samyang and it does the job,
  6. So, what's everyone been buying then? I picked up a Nissin i40 flashgun for my GX7... and liked it so much I bought one for my Canon 5D too. Like the small size and manual controls - quick and easy to get fill flash, for example.
  7. Your first 100,000 digital photos are your worst...
  8. She covered Love Don't Live Here Anymore too, back in the day.
  9. The adaptor looks half the size of the camera...

  11. That's fine, as long as Krul lets in some pens. :-)
  12. As someone clever on Twitter said, Cillessen kept a clean sheet for 120min and is going to be the third most praised keeper from this match.
  13. Ha. Think that *might* get you kicked out a gig...
  14. Neither an iPhone or an X100 will get you close-ups of artists, though.

    Glastonbury 2014

At Glastonbury it's pretty easy to avoid bands you don't like...
  16. Fairly sure they'll count a DSLR as professional in this instance. Security INSIDE asked me questions at a Hyde Park thing a couple of years ago (when I had a press badge), and I was just walking around at the time. BTW, I once got kicked out of Shepherd's Bush Empire (during a last song) just because my compact system camera had a removable lens. Tsk.
  17. Got my 5D3 this morning. *strokes box* Just wanted to tell someone - because I'm certainly not telling the wife...!
  18. Tokina 11-16mm Sigma 30mm – my favourite lens *sob* Canon 17-55mm All boxed. Haven't thought about prices yet.
  19. Thanks. Actually got £25 cashback tracked too. :-) Now to shift my EF-S lenses...
  20. Body down to £1919 after cashback. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/canon-5d-mark-iii-body-only-2-069-currys-plus-another-150-cashback-lowest-price-1893016 Ordered!
  21. Canon 5D Mark III + 24-105mm down to £2749 minus £150 cashback. http://www.harrisoncameras.co.uk/Cameras/D-SLR-Cameras/Canon-EOS-5D-Mark-III-Digital-SLR-Camera-with-EF-24-105mm-Lens_5260B026AA.htm Must resist... arrrrgh!
  22. I own a GX1. I really like the GX7, but not enough to buy one - mainly, I think, because it's a little too big. And expensive. 20mm is my most-used lens too. Or was - I've pretty much switched to NEX as second system now. And like others, I've been v v v tempted by the X100s.. but I don't think I could ditch a CSC set-up for it, as I occasionally want to use long, ultra-wide, fisheye etc. tl;dr I have waaaay too many cameras/lenses
  23. Money would be better spent on a good compact imo.
