  1. They were both great. And now I have a supply of base gravy in the freezer for future experiments. I really want to make a lamb keema curry next. Both recipes are by The Curry Guy. I got this book for Christmas https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1787135217/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_4AmMEbP7F87TT
  2. I made chicken tikka chilli garlic and saag paneer at the weekend
  3. I like that Art but I’ve run out of pos’s for today I can’t get enough of this song at the moment. I’ve had the CD for years but it past me by for a long time. Tom Moulton takes the sub 3 minute original and stretches it out to 8 minutes of soul perfection. It looks like the compilation it’s on goes for silly money now unfortunately.
  4. It looks like a great conversion.
  5. It will reduce and have more flavour when you make a curry with it, so I’m sure it’ll be fine.
  6. Please don’t offer to make me a curry the next time I’m round.
  7. Did anyone mention Jeff Minter’s Llamatron? Playing that with twin sticks on an ST or Amiga is twitch gaming heaven. The sound effects are also awesome. For me, the only 8bit game I can play nowadays for more than 10 minutes is Bruce Lee. So it must be the best.
  8. A median value of 3.5k for 125 records is a pretty damn fine ratio.
  9. I guess lag more perceptible to some people. It doesn’t make them better, and I do still love the damn thing At least things are improving (if you are prepared to tweak) https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Input-Lag
  10. The lag is a bit of a deal breaker really for twitch games. Shame that the FPGA options like the MISTer are relatively expensive.
  11. The great thing about paddles on the old pong machines played on a crt was that they were so instant and twitchy with zero perceptible lag. I doubt it can be recreated on modern tech.
  12. This is how you make a YouTube demo of a synth from 1983.
  13. The Megadrive is. The Amiga 1000 was released in 1985 but hardly anyone had one because they were expensive until the 500 came out in 1987. And even then they cost a lot more than the Atari ST. The Megadrive came out in 1988.
  14. 15 year anniversary of this lovely film
  15. You can buy them from Amazon Japan or Play Asia. I think there are 1 and 2 pad versions.
  16. No, sorry. I only have the “It came from Detroit” mixes.
  17. A new Megadrive demo has hit the streets. The music in particular is amazing. Here’s a link to the rom: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=82607
  18. Jan Beta has some c64 repair videos if you ever need them. Like this one

    Knower.

I’d love to see him live one day.

  21. The shaders slow things down in my experience, so if you have those on you could try turning them off.
