I'm listening on the radio as well. They reckon it's a ridiculous decision, that Casemiro was holding a Palace player back from getting involved in a melee. Is that a crazy take? It sounds like quite a crazy take.

I think that is what he was doing, but he was literally holding him around the neck

  2. Taskmaster Australia debuted in Australia earlier today. Reaction seems to be pretty good so far. Not been able to find anywhere to nab it from yet though.

How do people actually get tickets for these types of games? I just went on the Man Utd website, was in a queue of 5000 for about 20 mins then got through to the ticket section and the cup final is not even on there as an option 🤷‍♀️

So confused. Google’d it, still none the wiser. Do I have to perform a ritual/spell to gain special sight?

Think I saw a now deleted comment on Reddit saying they aren’t actually available yet.

  5. 3-0 going into the second leg tonight. What are we expecting line up wise?

I hope we see some rotation but I’m mostly expecting to see

    De Gea

    AWB

    Varane

    Martinez

    Shaw

    Casemiro

    Fred

    Rashford

    Bruno

    Antony

    Martial

with Sancho coming off the bench in the second half.

  6. Sounds like it’s basically done. I’m guessing he’s a decent fit rather than one of those square pegs for round holes kind of transfers we used to like.

I actually think the offside was incorrect as well. You can be offside if the ball deflects off a defender but not if the defender deliberately plays the ball. The defender sticks his foot out a deliberately plays it. It's the same as that one Salah scored against Wolves.

I actually think that it should be offside, as just because a defender deliberately plays the ball doesn't mean they're in control of it, and it's asking too much of defenders for them to judge whether an opponent is offside, and choose not to play the ball if they aren't able to control it.

But as the laws stand, I dunno, I think he's deliberately played it, hasn't he?

Unless deliberately playing the ball means to actually meaningfully kick it in a direction? I’ve no idea what’s going on with various rules these days
