  1. Level 20 now. Yep really, really enjoying this so far especially as I had zero expectations going in given the limited development background. The graphics and overall engine are definitely nowhere near as polished as MW, but I'm really enjoying the gameplay and maps quite a bit nonetheless (Checkmate, Moscow and smaller versions of the Ground War maps are excellent). Unfortunately, there's only 10 maps at the moment, but Treyarch have said that they're going to be releasing new free ones quite regularly, starting with another Nuketown in December. Campaign is phenomenal so far too. Haven't tried Zombies yet but early reports from notable steamers like NoahJ are that it's fantastic. Overall, a really good effort considering they had a year less. I just hate that you can't just jump into Warzone anymore from the main menu.
  2. Thanks! Considering Modern Warfare is over 250 GB, it seems pretty tiny.
  3. I bought the Cross Gen Bundle ages ago on PS4. Can't seem to find a way to pre-load it though. Anyone had any luck?
  4. Best series this year for me! If you're into chess, then I suggesting watching this analysis of the Harmon v Borgov final. Seems like the majority of it was based on an actual game and a bunch of grandmasters were involved in the series, making the chess playing feel authentic.
  5. Yes, he's amazing - I'm so glad I was able to finalize with him. The Aliens backglass is an epic piece, which is why I had to include it as part of my table.
  6. Small status update regarding my table artwork if you're interested. After receiving a couple of proofs from the Big Bang artist mentioned above, I really wasn't that convinced about the way it was going. My initial brief was to fill up the cab with as many pinball, videogame and arcade characters and the artist just wasn't willing to budge. Here are his first couple of proofs he sent me: Version 1 Version 2 So after receiving the first version, I started researching other artists that specialise in pinball designs and eventually I found and contacted the fantastic Brian Allen - https://www.flylanddesigns.com/ He already had a plethora of random pinball characters and mashups which I though would look amazing on my table and his style and talent was just on another level IMO. Anyways, here is the first proof which he sent me last night, and even though there's still some tweaking to do I'm absolutely loving it. Let me know what you think. https://imgur.com/gsJJzvP
  7. I think they've done it on purpose, so that when the next gen versions come out, they look absolutely amazing. Kind of like what NBA2K did.
  8. I was prepared for this to be Lego Mario levels of disappointment. Now it seems I have to get it!!!
  9. Here's a semi-decent match of me playing Dom on the new Cartel map:
  10. Anyone been playing the beta? I've pretty much been playing it non-stop the whole weekend and overall it's a little rough IMO. - Everyone seems to be a COD god now: skill based matchmaking means that if you do well in a few rounds, you will be put up against pro level gamers in the following couple of matches. Such a ridiculous system Activision has now. - It's kind of hard to see enemies. especially on maps like Miami. And what were they thinking about putting those giant bushes in the middle of Cartel? - The lag seems to be pretty bad, especially when you turn up your FOV. - The ground war mode isn't great. Anyways, I'm hopeful that Treyarch still has time to turn it around. I loved Modern Warfare and just wished they could've just built on top of that game, but what can you do?
  11. Thought the flip grip would satisfy my itch...It just accelerated the craving
  12. I kind of went all in on this pinball thing. I really wanted to buy a proper pinball table to have at home for me and the kids to enjoy. So I did quite a bit of research over the past month and found that at the end of the day they are really expensive and maintenance is usually a bit of a headache. So I started looking at the best digital pinball alternatives and found an Australian company called Xtreme Gaming Cabinets who seemed the best ones in terms of what they were offering over their competition. Basically, I ended up getting their 2in1 Virtual Pinball machine, which comes with a 43 inch main 4K screen, as well as a 32 inch backglass screen and smaller screens which have the DMD (dot matrix display) and other videos that show while you are playing. The system comes preloaded with an amazing frontend with around 1000 pinball tables (including all the Visual Pinball X, Pinball FX3 and Future Pinball tables), artwork, music, sound effects, etc and there is enough space for you to add almost that many more tables by downloading them off sites such as vpinball.com, vpforums.org etc. The 2in1 in the name refers to the fact that not only is this a virtual pinball machine, but it also comes with a two player arcade setup with thousands of MAME games and arcade classics. Vertical games such as 1944, Galaga, etc work on the main screen while horizontal games work of the backglass one. The table is fully customizable as well - I went with the tactile feedback system and a real plunger with nudge and tilt functionality. You can also upgrade with things like a motor shaker, solenoids, LED lighting, 3D toppers and even an upgrade of screens to 120 MHz etc. Just one thing to note if you are interested in ordering - the prices on their site are in Australian dollars, not American . Unfortunately, there is a bit of a backlog at their warehouse as they seem to be swamped with orders, but I’ve already put a 50% deposit down and should have my machine in around 2 months’ time. They have a YouTube channel showing off the key features of their systems. Check out the video of mine for more info: Their website is: https://www.xtremegamingcabinets.com.au/shop Since this table was going to be my first (and hopefully only) pinball table, I really wanted to make it special. My favorite table design of all time is the Big Bang Bar table made by Capcom. So I searched all over and ended up finding out who the artist was - his name is Stan Fukuoka - and I contacted him. I wanted one side of the table to remain faithful to his original design, but the other side will be redone as a mashup of famous pinball characters in the same style. He is currently in the process of designing it and will share here when he has finalized the designs.
  13. Buy this (if you want to spend a little): Or these (cheaper alternative):
  14. Played my wilcard, took out Son but somehow miraculously still managed to hit 99 points and now I'm 3rd!!!! Highest I've ever been in the Rllmuk League in 4 years playing. The only way is down....
  15. Why couldn't these Treyarch fuckers just come out with 15 new multiplayer maps for MW instead? The MW engine is miles better in terms of graphics, movement and overall gameplay. This yearly cycle that Activision forces upon its devs is really hurting the franchise I feel. I've still bought it as COD is what I mostly play online with my friends, but don't really have high hopes. Fingers crossed the game comes with a new Warzone map.
  16. I jumped straight into Galaxy as I've never played it before. A couple of stars in and it really is something special isn't it!!!
  17. You can download the multiplayer alpha of this today and play it tomorrow (on PS4 only).
  18. I just bought myself a Flip Grip for the Switch, and ended up buying all the Pinball FX tables for the 3rd time (PS Vita / PS4 and Android beforehand), just coz I had to have them on the Switch. Firstly I was disappointed that my Hori Split Pad Pro joycons don't work on the thing . But once I got used to the smaller Nintendo ones again, it really is an amazing simple piece of kit and makes vertical games, expecially Pinball FX, much more enjoyable. Quick question - there are a bunch of tables missing - all the Marvel ones, South Park ones, Plants vs. Zombies etc. What's going on there. And why is Star Wars Pinball a separate game completely and not integrated into the main game. Lastly, what other good games take advantage of the Flip Grip?
  19. I watched a bunch of Scump's stream last night, and I actually liked the look of it tbh. Then again...it is Scump and he shat on everyone so it could just be that!
  20. Huge multiplayer reveal! The ship to ship map looked fantastic. The desert and Miami ones also looked like they played well. I'm excited!
  21. Video got taken down, but here it is:
  22. Apparently some streamer called Doug is Raw accidently streamed a closed door multiplayer game:
  23. Not sure if there's another thread for this, but I'm about to pre-order the game and was just wondering what the Cross Gen bundle is. I assumed that your entire PS4 games library would be able to transfer to PS5 once it launches.
  24. I was tempted to get the Switch version too but apparently there are quite a few graphic compromises: framerate drops during cinematics, no crowds and some pop-in.
