  1. Played for over half hour to get this score...multiballs galore. Love this table.
  2. Not sure what happened, but it's pretty easy to re-install. Will have a look for the txt file later today for you but I would recommend a VPX re-install. Shouldn't be too difficult.
  3. Here's a nice little strategy explanation as well that should help us all out:
  4. Updated link - https://vpuniverse.com/file/8625-pirates-of-the-caribbean-siggis-mod/
  5. Happy with Pirates. Link was already mentioned above but here it is again: Pirates of the Caribbean - Siggi's Mod: https://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/8625-pirates-of-the-caribbean-siggis-mod/ Good luck to all.
  6. A couple of amazing table options for next week's main table: Pirates of the Caribbean - Siggi's Mod: https://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/8625-pirates-of-the-caribbean-siggis-mod/ Star Trek The Next Generation - https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=15869 Champions League 2021 - https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=16143 Vote away. I vote for Pirates.
  7. The guy I rent my pinball machines from for work just surprised me by coming over and dropping me off one of these badboys
  8. Nice one, my best is 5 loops.
  9. @Wizcat you really should download VPX. The difference in physics with the Zen engine is night and day and a lot more realistic.
  10. This is the recommended: Processor: AMD Ryzen R5 1400 (4x 3.2/3.4 GHz) 8MB Socket AM4 CPU BOX Memory: 8GB (2x4GB) Ballistix Sport LT DDR4-2400 CL16 (16-16-16) RAM Kit Graphics card: MSI GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GT LP 4GB GDDR5 DVI/HDMI/DP Low Profile graphics card I upgraded to a Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM and GeForce 2060 in order to future-proof.
  11. I've had a PS5 since launch, two Nintendo Switches and a Virtual Pinball cabinet with hundreds of tables...and definitely not enough time to play them all. But I went ahead and took the plunge on an XBox Series S today....mainly for GamePass. The service is amazing and I'm currently in the process of downloading around 80 games! Pumped to get into Forza Horizon 5 first and foremost.
  12. The Getaway Tutorial: There's no greater feeling in pinball than hitting a couple of balls into the supercharger jackpot, watching them race around simultaneously, then hitting the super jackpot right after. Good luck!
  13. I agree...there's nothing like an actual physical game of pinball, but VPX is the next best thing and will let you experience hundreds of games that you will never have a chance to play in real life. It also allows you to learn the rules of a table before you play it in real life, so you end up playing that much better. I organize events and festivals for a living and whenever I am able to, I always try to include an area where I put in pinball machines (at least for me and my kids to enjoy). Here's a recent 10 days festival I did in Abu Dhabi in December where I had an LE Wizard of Oz, a CE Willy Wonka, a Stranger Things Pro and a Guardians of the Galaxy Premium:
  14. Yeah I know the Bally Williams games are still Solid State, but what I meant by DMD is that the graphics on the DMDs begin to improve with various animations etc instead of just having the scores up. Mainly the 90s classic games which I consider the golden age of pinball with the likes of Addams Family, Twilights Zone, Whitewater, etc. I have zero interest in EMs so I actually ended up removing most of them off my machine.
  15. There's usually an understanding from the community to give a 3 year gap before releasing recreations. But most of the newer tables are quite an undertaking, not like the DMD tables. Batman 66 for example was built from the ground up by quite a big team. Same with Guardians of the Galaxy and the upcoming Black Knight Sword of Rage. Also, it's mainly Stern that seem to be fine with the visual pinball scene. Jersey Jack who produce some amazing games have publicly stated that they are against the practice so no one attempts to recreate theirs.
  16. I'm a bigger fan of the DMD Bally Williams Sega era of pinball personally. But we can do a few options per week (maybe one Solid State, one or two DMDs and one original table)? My suggestions for this week's tables would be: Bad Cats (SS) - https://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/6529-bad-cats-williams-1989-vpw-mod/ Theatre of Magic (DMD) - https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=14817 The Getaway (DMD) - https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=13130 Harry Potter (Original) - https://mega.nz/file/XM0UGRIJ#ryzH-w2E321ww3SqJFTF_VMZbr-ESmGdOxC-rsXwTIs Maybe try them all out first and see what you think and let's vote. I'd be happy with any of the above.
  17. Never heard of it. Tried it a few times...not a big fan of the table or the physics in the digital version of it. I don't mind Solid State games from the 80s/90s, but there are way better ones to choose from like Bad Cats, Firepower, Diner, Black Knight, Fathom etc. Maybe a better way to choose weekly tables would be to get a consensus from like 2 or 3 options with people voting?
  18. Anyone struggling to find roms, here's the full set you can download in one shot: https://mega.nz/folder/IKBiVbhK#OjDC0pUVGSLLiMYjc5PRFw
  19. What table are we doing next? Happy for someone else to pick one.
  20. I live in Dubai...but you're more than welcome anytime if you're in the area
  21. Not really. The backglass file has to match the table name exactly. So the only way to do it I believe is to have multiple versions of it saved as different names.
  22. I sporadically just hit the fire button during multiballs, as I seem to forget the VIP pass thing as well. I do the same on The Getaway for shifting gears.
