  1. Has everyone seen that amazing interview Jesse Eisenberg did recently?
  2. I think he's referring to Robin Wright(-Penn).
  3. Here's the trailer for other people looking for it:
  4. Cheers - I'll give it a try then!
  5. Well you guys have convinced me - I'm going to try it with a couple of friends at the weekend! One question - is it girl-friendly, and does it have much nudity (one friend isn't keen on that)?
  6. You can subscribe to this YouTube feed if you want to see whenever there's a new video.
  7. Is that Transport Tycoon? I had that game and I swear I've never seen snow in it! Well I never!
  8. Um, surely that's concept art? Look at it full size - looks like it's painted!
  9. Cheers! Tis getting a bit long in the tooth though!
  10. Still doesn't make sense - I'm guessing valid numbers are approximately 01000 000000 to 09999 999999. That's 9 billion.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_OX-VJ3kSs What? There are HOW many 11-digit numbers? Am I being stupid? Any O2 customers - I wouldn't trust O2 with your bills if I were you...
  12. Funnily enough, the guy that composed most of the Mario Galaxy music (not Koji Kondo) mentioned in an interview that he had trouble pinning down exactly what Mario music should sound like. I like the Galaxy music myself - it's also much more varied than Sunshine's was.
  13. I'm not sure they ever had a section for Banjo, but it was mentioned in a recent-ish Q&A: http://www.rareware.com/extras/scribes/30aug07/index.html Edit: It was brought up in a recent interview too: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=174110
  14. Am I the only one who thinks that the songs are sometimes an unwanted distraction? SOMETIMES. I find the straight comedy stuff pretty damn funny.
  15. Whoever's first to do it - now Bremner, Bird and Fortune have paved the way (and the complainers have aired their outraged blusterings and got it all out of their systems) everyone else can safely have a pop. Graham Norton next?
  16. Yeah, I really like the 1st series (though I probably wouldn't admit it in real life )- I'll have to catch up on the 2nd one soon!
  17. I'm providing a human TiVo service today Top Gear's on at 8 tonight, with Louis Theroux afterwards... should be a good evening's viewing!
  18. Louis Theroux: Under the Knife is on tonight - should be a good watch, as always!
  19. An interesting read - your box office reports are really appreciated, Goose! Do you work in the entertainment industry, or is it just a healthy interest? I'm looking forward to seeing Transformers this week - I live in Cheltenham so the cinema's been shut due to the lack of running water recently, so I'll be glad to catch up on a few filums!
  20. But it's not like they only work on one film at a time! These things take years to make, after all. They must have 3-5 films in production at any one time...
  21. Ah, but PAL TV is 50Hz interlaced. Does it show 50 half-frames or 25 full frames (with each split in half) per second? I mean, if an odd-field frame is shown first, does the even-field frame that follows it come from the same source-frame or the next one? Sorry. Edit: i.e. does it count as 25 frames per second or 50?
  22. I'd make Rare great again. Mind you, Microsoft already spent $380m odd, to no avail
  23. And the Jez-mobile featured!
