I was at the Dizzy event yesterday and got some time hands on with the Vega+ too. I didn't access the OS or games list but had a go on a Dizzy game and a couple of others. I guess it was one of the pre-production units and the build quality seemed decent enough. I mean it actually exists which is a positive. Hopefully every backer will get their consoles and the whole saga can come to a close as soon as possible. -

Absolutely this. I didn't know it was Thompson voicing the character. You'd think she'd raise an objection that the sheer hilarity of the accent just didn't fit rather than going full 'Van Dyke'.

We at Retro Asylum had the chance to attend the Vega+ launch 'event' but politely declined the offer as we wanted to remain an impartial observer. This whole campaign has lacked any transparency and backers have been left sadly adrift on what the hell is happening. -
I did listen to it and he's clearly not a dick but his shtick just grates with me. He's just a 'me me' type of guy who's always looking to put himself front and centre. If people like it then I've no problem, but I'm out.

So I now have a screen protector fitted and have modded the dock with strips of lense cloth material and electrical tape for the screen and rear sides respectively. It's crazy that only now my Switch isn't likely to get damaged through expected use. Switch Ambassador Program incoming!

SMS Electronics remaining silent is the biggest reg flag for me. Would predict they're staying out of it so to not prejudice any subsequent legal action for non-prodcution -

The thing that bothers me most with PSVR is the smell of the nose shield. Mixed with the usual VR sweats it's the one thing that forces me to stop playing. Is this a common thing as I've not seen much spoken about it?

Pity I didn't get a beta email. How long do Sony usually go before putting firmware releases live? External HD, PSVR 3D blue rays and boost mode are some significant improvements.
