  1. I meant specifically with regard to the post a few before mine that said the initial games would run on X1 and the new machines.
  2. It'll be a hard sell to get people to jump in if there aren't any exclusive games.
  3. This 100% fits the bill for "forum purchases destined to be raved about then forgotten and never mentioned 4 months later".

    Xbox Game Pass

Outerwilds was the E3 freebie from last year. I didn't realise we'd be waiting until e3 this year for it to arrive!

    Xbox Game Pass

I wonder if handheld hardware is more or less likely at the moment. For years the brand was all about control of the living room but now we're in a different phase, it could be more likely. Either way, I think Dr Mario is unlikely to be usurped from his position as my travel companion.

    Xbox Game Pass

    No streaming, thankyou.

    Xbox Game Pass

If Microsoft put out a handheld system capable of playing 360 games/less power hungry X1 titles and integrated it with Game Pass, I would like that very much. There are too many games to play and not enough time.
  8. I thought this might be like Trevor Baylis' radios at first.

    Xbox One X

I wish I knew someone with an X so I could compare it to mine, I'd be up for doing the thermal paste on mine if it is louder but I'm not sure if I'm being over sensitive to the noise.
  10. Back when I used to buy games to play rather than buy games I intend to play but don't have the time and buy too many, Comic Jumper was spectacularly unenjoyable. I tried to play it a few times but cannot fathom anyone saying they like it (and I know it's happened). I wouldn't even bother with downloading it just in case.
  11. This killed it for me. I wanted to buy the battle pass to reward them for making the game but it ended up making me resent them. I thought they would have changed the speed of progression by now but they seem to be happy with it. Between that and the majority of randoms being utter shit heels anyway.
  12. I know think they need to re-evaluate their business model or they won't be around TBH.... Game have to a degree making their stores have experiences etc. Its a changing world out there. They need to start offering different shopping experiences and not rely on pre-owned game sales IMHO. Anyway it will be what it will be I guess.... Can't say I'm thrilled at the potential of a gaming world without pre-owned games but well the PC has been like this for years now. There will still be plenty of retro games to pick up though on discs... The point remains that I don't think Game will want to stock these systems. You said they can sell digital games and gamepass cards. If that is how it will go, this is the end of Game, re-evaluation or not. Seems as @Revival says, GameStop can see it too.
  13. I can't see it, their business model is struggling anyway, and I believe pre-owned is a big part of their profits. I'm not going into a shop to buy the exact same digital purchase for the exact same price that I can buy at the system I want to use it on. Or my phone, or my computer.
  14. I don't want one but I don't think it's supposed to be for me. Once they're being offered to people side by side, one that's much more expensive (X) and two that are almost the same price some people will go for the cheaper one. They just will. And if Microsoft want to sell them they can easily improve the value proposition by including more games if they can't lower the price. I'd be more interested to know if retailers will stock the thing. For every one that Game sell, they decrease the share of the market that they can sell to. If I were them, I'd probably not want to sell it, even if Microsoft are offering a healthy profit margin on each.
  15. Does this mean that you can't buy just Gold down the line? I don't see why anyone would want to convert their subs back so I can't work out why they've said that?
  16. It should be in the store under deals or on a tile in the dashboard OR if you open the Xbox side menu, it's often there too. If you can't find it in any of those places you could use the website to add the games to your account: https://www.xbox.com/en-gb/live/games-with-gold?source=lp

    The Division 2

I'm popping on now, if any low level Xbox players want to hit the Dark Zone, I'm in!

Cool, are you playing on Xbox? I've joined Clan (The Ronin) already if so.

    The Division 2

Ah cool, so in a way I'll get less repetition! Is there any point in trying to play with people on here now? I'm about level 16, does the game do any level adjusting for who you're playing with or will I just be getting destroyed / anyone I play with from here be melting the enemies?

    Nintendo Switch

Dead Cells is good for switch, imo. If you're looking for something good for portable play, I mean. If you're playing at home and have another system, I'd get it for that, it runs better on Xbox than Switch.

    The Division 2

Is there a way to reset an area? I joined an online game with randoms, pootled around a bit and now in my game one area I hadn't touched has been done for me. I like taking the strongholds so I'm a bit bummed out to have had them taken away from me. I assumed I was helping with someone else's progress, I didn't want any help with mine.
  22. There are loads of people who have just one console. The majority of people have either an Xbox or a PS4, multiple console ownership isn't a standard thing. With a market of millions, it would absolutely make financial sense to release on another platform, surely? The cost of development dwarfs porting, surely? If you're in any doubt, look at absolutely every other title that comes out on Xbox and PlayStation. If the margins were so narrow on the game, they wouldn't make it at all, surely?
