Me and Nicky finished Halo 3 on Heroic with co-op and was pretty good, except for that horrific
last level
, though I'd really like to get a gaming session together with four players co-op on Legendary. *crosses fingers*

Incredible scenes! Some genius in that Discovery clip... so much to love!

I started buying 2000ad again about a year ago (originally stopped around prog 500) and I'm loving it. I really look forward to Wednesdays and half an hour or so in the evening reading through it.
Some of the artwork is jaw droppingly good at the moment.
I need to get back into 2000AD. There was a point where I lost all faith in it and stopped buying it. This could be the recommendation I need!

Death, that's the fella.
'spose it kinda makes sense he'd be around. Can't exactly kill off the undead, eh?
"You cannot killll whaaat doessss not livveeeee".
Oh, and one of the best moments in Dredd history ever -
Anyone else see the Comics Britannia documentary last night? Pretty good, although needed more 2000AD and less Viz.

Watching the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it's safe to say that the Candyman is also suitable paedo material. "Here, kids! Have these sweets! They're totally free! Now come round the back for more free sweets!". I also was surprised I didn't remember Willy Wonka's Tunnel of Fear and Disturbing Imagery.

I watched the live show last night, very entertaining but not sure how a series would work. Shall go do a search on Youtube and see!
It works very well - it's kind of like a New Zealand Mighty Boosh - comedy and songs intermixed together. I have a new favourite tune - Cheer Up, Murray!.

I used to hate South Park before I saw the South Park Movie. Now I enjoy it rather more.

Terrible fucking poster.
I also used to remember an age when people designed proper logos for movies too.

It's a good job we're not paying for any of this.
Oh.

Here's a few good reasons why BBC Three should die a death -
"Help! I Smell Of Fish!"
"Under 18 And Under The Knife"
"Most Annoying Pop Songs"
"Danny - Escaping My Female Body"
"Lucy : Teen Transexual In Thailand"
"Dog Borstal"
"Help Me Anthea - I'm Infested"
Some of the programme titles which will can be seen in the next 7 days. It reads like something out of TV Go Home, except it's frighteningly real.

I'm looking forward to this. Serafinowicz put some really funny videos up on Youtube a while ago in the style of an Entertainment Now! programme with himself impersonating all the celebrities. They were really great, and it looks like this show might be an extension of those. I can't find those videos on Youtube now though, maybe they were taken down?
That'll be O! News - looks like it's part of this new show too.
A classic piece of O! News -

Just seen the
for this - could be good, could be bad. Who knows? It's not been on television yet! Hahah! Let's wait until it does so and then we can formulate our opinions about it.0 -
One of the blokes in Look Around You.
The love rival in Spaced.
The zombie bloke stepping out of the bath in Shaun of the Dead.
The voice of Darth Maul.
Etc. etc.

I have me a copy of the CoD4 beta (cheers, Steve!) and also Halo 3 on pre-order for next Wednesday when I'll be taking the day off. I'm hoping me and nicky play co-op campaign and anyone from Surreal is free to join in!

I'm very much looking forward to the series - the clips I'm seeing are great.

I managed to check out the HBO Special they showed on BBC Four tonight - a nice surprise, some very funny material. Be interesting to see what the BBC Four series will be like...
Plenty of YouTube clips to keep me going before then.

Some very interesting points brought up about the pricing of NiN albums compared to others which I find all the time when I see them on sale in HMV...
Oh, I understand that -- I steal music too, I'm not gonna say I don't. But it's tough not to resent people for doing it when you're the guy making the music, that would like to reap a benefit from that. On the other hand, you got record labels that are doing everything they can to piss people off and rip them off. I created a little issue down here because the first thing I did when I got to Sydney is I walk into HMV, the week the record's out, and I see it on the rack with a bunch of other releases. And every release I see: $21.99, $22.99, $24.99. And ours doesn't have a sticker on it. I look close and 'Oh, it's $34.99'. So I walk over to see our live DVD Beside You in Time, and I see that it's also priced six, seven, eight dollars more than every other disc on there. And I can't figure out why that would be.There's more said about this in the interview too. Kind of shocking actually.

I didn't see this show, but it sounds like Ross actually got some answers from Stan Lee (if not Ditko himself) - I'm sure it'll be available online pretty soon if anyone else missed it.
I think it'll be repeated this week on BBC Four sometime. As for the Stan Lee interview, it was admirable that Ross did push Stan Lee to revealing a few home truths over who created Spider-Man and I think Stan Lee probably revealed something he didn't mean to. It did make for some very interesting viewing especially when they introduce Ditko's take on the whole affair via a comic he did in '99.

Just saw the repeat - really enjoyed it, especially the bit at the end! I think that Ross is perfect for the documentary as he has an insanely obsessive interest in the subject matter.

I don't think he's dead, so he still can.
There's hope!
