I've been to three Driv3r pressevents and the focus at all three was exactly the same: graphics and physics. Look at the shadow, look at the interactive enviroment, look how my car lost a door, look how big the city is, look how my wheel bumped onto the curbe. Never did they tell anything about the game itself. And if anyone asked about the game, they showed a bugridden mission (follow some truck and steal the car it is carrying?) accompanied by the line 'it is a alpha so please forgive any bugs'. It was all about the graphics. All the time.
You can not tell me Reflections actually thought they were making a good game. If they did, they would have engulfed me in 'creative!!' and 'groundbreaking!!' crap. Now they just told me 'see how the bullets from my machine gun damage the car'.
