  1. I want to hear The Surf Coasters in more games. The Japanese Beach Boys-like music is superb for silly games (like Runabout). Madball/System of a Down/whatever for Burnout 3. I play Burnout 2 with System of a Down (Toxicity) of the Xbox HD and it feels so good, driving in wrong lane at 200 mph with System of a Down filling the room. Utopia! 'Psycho groupie cocaine *close call!* crazy. Psycho *vrooom!* groupie cocaine crazy. Makes you high, make you high. Makes you really wanna *craashh!!*. Woohoo!!'
  2. Game is really old, one of the Japanese launch games if I remember correctly. Cool game but very unplayable - everything is in Japanese. I can not even start the game Sweet thing is that you can 'drive' through the city you built. Not so sweet thing is that the game uses 6 of the 8 MB om the memory card. Edit: whoa!! A European (!) release of A-Train 6! Man, superb! Gotsta get me one of these babies

I play without the Soul Controller and I love the game. So yes, it's ace

    Onimusha 3

I think so I've played all the Onimusha's in Japanese so I have no idea what is it about But it is still 'just' a hack 'n slash adventure so you do not need to have played the previous Onimusha's to enjoy part 3. I just remember: four touristic attractions in Paris are in the game: Arc de Triomph (typo?), Eiffel Tower, some Zoo and some sort of church. Never knew the Eiffel tower was so tall Later this week I think I will grab some movies from the game, just for fun

Oh, and Legendary - the Japanese version has Japanese subtitles. I guess the English version will have English subtitles.

    Onimusha 3

No English subtitles From Japan Ah yes, the Soul Controller. I'll load up some pics later today. How it works: it's a plastic wireless sword that consists of three parts: handle, blade and bladecover. Blade plus the cover are just for show and may not be used, you know why soon The handle has all the Dual Shock 2 buttons, nicely placed all over the handle. It can be used by lefthanded and righthanded people though lefthanded is best - left under, right up (that is what I remember from my martial arts lessons ) The sword comes with a stand that lets you place the whole thing on a tv for example. Looks bloddy awesome Three batteries activate the sword, a receiver in the PS2 controllerport makes contact between PS2 and sword. Some sort of mercury-switch in the handle suggests 'motion capture' but nothing is more wrong. You see, there is no motion capture, there is just a mercury switch that actives buttons when you swing the sword like crazy. You can slash horizontaly, Samanosuke slashes verticaly. But hey, it's the thought that counts

    Onimusha 3

I llllike it! Tomorrow I will tell about the game, now I'm too tired Just some tidbits: - it looks superb. The architecture, the design of the world, the creatures and characters. All very good. - the 3D works perfectly. You can use the analog stick to steer (no more Resident Evil gamemeahcnis horrors) of the digital pad (which I prefer). - Jean Reno speaks French and Japanese - the awesome intro has nothing to do with the game, absolutely nothing. Well, as far as I can tell. See, I don't speak Japanese But none of the cool creatures from the intromovie are in the game, aside from the zombie samurai's. - timetravel plays a role, as does sending items through time to each other. You can make thing undone in 2004 by destroying it in 1582. - it took me 11:52. not doing all the extra stuff liike collecting. - the boss fight is... to put it in one word... *groar!!!* Any questions? Edit: Soul Controller. More to follow soon.
  11. I have all three and make the following remark when people ask me what to buy. I would buy a Xbox for two games: Steel Battalion and Dead or Alive Xtreme Volleyball. I would buy a Xbox for one game: Super Monkey Ball. Edit: I would buy a GameCube for one game: Super Monkey Ball. (thanks Alex W ) I would buy a PS2 for a lot of games: Maximo, Rez, Ico, Runabout, Onimusha You have to look at platform-specific titles. Buying a Xbox for Burnout 2 is silly, as the game is also available on PS2. Just look at platform-specific games ands make your choice. But when people ask me what they should buy, I always recommend a PS2. A lot of games, a whole lot of genres and a very bright future (games keep coming).
  12. There is a Starship Troopers game for PC, I have it right here. But it seems it never got released, don't know why. It is a Command & Conquer game. Not great, but pretty exciting to play.
  13. http://www.virtualdreams.fr/jeux/metalgearsolid3/40.jpg nice shadow snake
  14. I'm a sucker for comical mission-based driving games. Grand Theft Auto is too violent me, I prefer (and absolutely love ) Runabout. it is so crap it becomes superb. Part 3 (on PS2) looks like poop, plays like poop, sounds like poop but iI adore it. Hell, I even finished the Japanese version completely! Wreckless is also a game I really truly like. /me hums the Runabout tunes from The Surf Coasters

    ARMAX

My modded PAL PS2 play games perfectly, no problems at all. Domestic, import, beta, debug, cd, dvd. Only ARMAX refuses to read import dvd games. Games tried with ARMAX PAL: a few tested (both cd and dvd), works perfectly USA: I have no usa games Japanese: Soul Calibur 2 (dvd) - ARMAX and PS2 freezes Tekken Tag (cd) - ARMAX and PS2 works Rez (cd) - ARMAX and PS2 works Gungrave (dvd) - ARMAX and PS2 freezes Conclusion: my ARMAX will not read import dvd games. Question: why the fuck not. Anybody else with this weird problem? Man, is there finally (!) a cool ARMAX code (FFX-2 debug), does the damn thing not work.

    ARMAX

ok, I have this action replay max. Works perfectly fine on a PAL ps2 with PAL games. It works perfectly on a PAL PS2 with import games (yes, my PS2 is modded. Nobody keeps me away from Xenosaga. Buying a fourth PS2 - USA one - is just silly ). But only import cd games are being detected by the ARMAX. Import dvd games do one thing... and that is freezing the PS2. I asked Datel but have not heard anything. So, any of you know?
