@Stanley Really? I read a lot of people saying they barely had any drops..I dont know Ive not played it on a base machine. Plus it wasnt an outright 350, you could get it half price with the trade in, with a lovely new pad and refreshing of your consumer rights.

TLG hammers the machine, it would have always come out with frame drops. Luckily we get a brute forced solution of a double GPU machine with faster clock. Really, the pro is a great machine, I don't fall into the camp of having to hate one to like another.

Eh? I didnt say any of that. It runs great, things like TLG run miles better on it, and boost mode can be applied to all your old catalogue. Its brilliant. It doesnt give a "minimal" improvement in frames, its dramatic and applies to all your games.

That's not true though, the pro is great. 2xgpu for an excellent 4k solution, boost mode to run existing titles better, and I only paid 150 for it by trading in a ps4. Scorpio will be good but it doesnt make the pro bad, they can co-exist.

Even if people don't want this, competition raises the tide for everyone. Microsoft need to bring out good stuff to stop Sony getting complacent, and vice versa. This is literally good for everyone here.

The pro is exactly what it's called..a double gpu, higher clocked ps4. Which is great and I love mine for it. The scorpio is way more than that though, it's not even a competition spec wise. I just really, really hope they use the power wisely. Tell you what mind, they better make it back compatible with peripherals.

If he was a salaried writer with no patreon or internet profile to consider, would he really have submitted that review for publication? Also, no outlet worth their salt would let him get away with tweeting "reconsider that preorder" while under NDA.
