  1. OK, so I don't want to turn the thread into an advert for Prom Kween, but last on stage we were awarded the Best Ensemble Award from The Stage newspaper! We were stunned. I also saw John Luke Roberts doing stand up at Monkey Barrel and it was brilliantly funny and irreverent! Have an amazing festival all! X Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  2. Just saw Lucy Pearman on the free Fringe at The Monkey Barrel. Show called Maid of Cabbage! Totally hilarious absurdist comedy, and for free to boot! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  3. Saw This Is Not Culturally Significant last night and was amazed at the performer's that control and skill. He switches so easily between characters at break neck speed. Really impressive. @Butters if you come along please say hi afterwards! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  4. I'm up in Edinburgh and wondered if anyone on the forum was up here working on or seeing shows for the Fringe. I'm in a show called Prom Kween at Underbelly on Cowgate at 8:35pm everyday. It's a crazy mix of Drag Race, High School Musical and we just got 5 stars in the Evening Standard today! http://www.standard.co.uk/goingout/theatre/prom-kween-edinburgh-festival-review-hilariously-rips-the-hell-out-of-high-school-musicals-a3606271.html Anyone in town please come along and I'd love to meet you. If you've got a show or a recommendation post here and I'll come catch you! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. Any forumites in shows in Edinburgh, or got recommendations for things to see! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. I'm in a similar boat, I'll be in the States from January till the end of March, but as I'm touring around I don't know whether to try and grab a Switch States-side (to get playing before I head homeward) or order one online in the UK to ensure its there when I get back. The fact I'm torn between the two choices in this seemingly huge decision should go some way to explain how excited I am about this console! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  7. I wish Nintendo would show us something more to be excited about. I feel like we all lament Zelda not making it for launch, but mostly because it's only the only thing we know is coming out for the Switch. E3 was a deluge of BotW game play. If we had something else to pine for I think we'd all get over this a lot quicker. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  8. The week I had a lucky break and scored high was only because I'd completely missed the deadline for doing a switcheroo! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  9. Just wanted to throw out a huge thanks for running this this year. I know I'm not very vocal on the thread, but the F1 prediction game is probably the most exciting thing in Formula 1 for me at the moment! I just need to remember to switch up my bloody drivers once in a while! Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  10. Twas me that spoke of the warranty being 2 years. Saved me a good £50 on a repair job earlier this year when I accidentally got a lot of melted chocolate somehow inside my 3DS... Best bit is that after a repair they sent it back with a letter saying the warranty is extended for another year from the date of repair, so I have something like another 315 odd days to smother it in something else now! 11. Oh God yeah! I remember getting really addicted to that when I was in a shared house years ago. We'd all sit around and play together. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  12. 22 points again! And still in second place! Very pleased with myself! Have to admit that the league is almost the only thing keeping me interested in this season, and the announcement about F1 going off to Sky in 2019 just compounds my waning interest. That said, is there any merit in us trying to meet up for one of the live races someday? I can't really afford going to a race day (not after just getting engaged!) but there must be somewhere that shows the F1 on a nice big screen right??
  13. Got a code from Ubisoft today, it annoyingly I'm not home all weekend. So if anyone out there is looking for an XBone Beta Code PM me. First come, first served! CODE GONE!
  14. Signed up again! Love the excitement at the start of the season!
  15. Aha! Thank you for that, it's worked a treat! Currently enjoying a lazy Sunday with Phoenix Wright and Mario Kart... Oh how I have missed the simple joys of Nintendo.
  16. Plastic backed with a wood veneer it seems to me... But I'm not an expert. Feels wooden to the touch and very satisfying! Have to admit to a 'few' problems though. I didn't realise micro sd cards came in different formats, and the 64GB SDXC card I bought is pointless as it's not supported. Luckily I have put it in my phone and popped the 32GB SDHC card in the 3DS. Also didn't realise I'd have to format it on my laptop, I just assumed the 3DS would do it for me. Spent a few hours sorting this stuff out, and buying a screwdriver from Maplins and now downloading games. But won't get to play today as I've got folks over for Anti-Valentines board games. Well done to Nintendo and DPD for great delivery service though!
  17. It's finally arrived! The whole kit is here. Now to set up and download some games!
  18. I've had the exact same situation happen to me. Not wanting to wait until Monday I've opted to stump up the fiver and get it Saturday.... Which sucks as the delivery window is currently 8am to 5pm. Here's hoping they narrow it down on the day. Seems I have to wait a little longer for my new toy.
  19. Due to arrive between 13:30 and 14:30! Flat mate has prepped our neighbour to accept delivery! Roll on Friday 8pm when I get home!
  20. I'm an actor. Currently doing a wee tour of Romeo and Juliet. It's only to schools, but it pays the bills and actually it's fucking fun! Currently in York. This is why I'm getting the 3DS actually, I'm home next week (half term) but then away till May, this should satisfy my gaming cravings!
  21. Boom! Got the despatched text! Due to arrive tomorrow... Agonisingly I'm on tour till Friday! Time to bribe my flatmate to stay at home and accept delivery!
  22. I'm still "awaiting stock pick" too... It's agonising. I feel like a kid again, I check the order every few hours to see if it's updated. Daft as they'll send an email anyway... But like I said, I currently have the understanding of a child who just wants his new toy! I've ordered the Black n3DS and splashed out for some wood (hope they're wood) plates too. Roll on Friday!
  23. My Nintendo order says the adaptor will be delivered 17th March 2016! I hope to God that's not right... This is my first 3DS and I have all next week at home to get familiar with my new baby!
  24. Ta muchly for the advice! Got my Giant Mario holder yesterday too. It's freaking massive!
