  1. Applying that logic you might as well scratch either the Best Picture or Best Director category entirely, though.
  2. That reminds me, I wonder if that Life is Strange series is still going forward. If we didn't already have Our Flag Means Death I would've suggested a Monkey Island 20-30 min per episode comedy.
  3. Played this with the bf last year, it was tons of fun and made for a few cozy, sleuthy evenings together. I also felt it ramped up the difficulty at just the right pace. We also got stuck one evening when dead tired, fresh eyes the next morning helped us solve what we thought was impossible within a minute! I also was put off by the art style at first though but really grew to like it over time, of course it helped that game itself was so entertaining. So don't let its looks stop you from this giving a go!
  4. Same order here, I thought it worked quite well. Regarding Salas, All in all I really enjoyed this, it may be generic as all hell but it was entertaining and I found myself looking forward to new episodes, and how they filled the blanks. A lot of it didn't make sense, but I'm usually pretty forgiving and don't mind having to suspend disbelief. In most cases (World War Z is an example of a film where I could not handle the amount of stupidity involved to drive the "plot" - or rather action - forward.)
  5. Oof ok that sounds rough, but not Game of Thrones levels of brutal. I'll keep it on my list, but definitely not one for a bad mental health day!
  6. I was gonna give that a go but if it's extremely brutal I may have to rethink that
  7. Also Firefly, as much as it has aged, is still worth a watch in spite of its cancelation. That said, I'm not sure I would have watched 1899 if I'd known the creators weren't going to get to fulfill their 3-season plan.
  8. Giving that a go now as well, I'm on my second episode. Would be interested to hear what order other people are watching it in! Gonna go back and keep editing this post, so far for me it's: Yellow Green Violet Blue Orange Red
  9. Oof. I was thinking about ditching it and not going back for season 2, until I saw the last scene of season 1, which made me want more. Ffs
  10. I just really hope he's gonna be okay, he always seems like a sweet dude 🥺
  11. It's good but it didn't grab me like the last one did. Somehow I ended up listening to it only a couple of times, which is shocking. Must give it another (proper) go.
  12. omg YES! Exactly what I need
  13. Mike Flanagan has acquired the rights from King, written a pilot and outlined an entire first season as well roughly outlined four more (and perhaps two feature films). The Gods have listened! There is no deal for it to be produced yet, Amazon is still a possibility as he just left Netflix for them, but he could also shop it around elsewhere as the rights were carved out of that deal. https://deadline.com/2022/12/mike-flanagan-amp-trevor-macy-the-dark-tower-series-movies-netflix-exit-midnight-club-canceled-amazon-intrepid-1235191018/ I want this to happen so bad.
  14. Framed #272 🎥 🟩 ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ https://framed.wtf Didn't post yesterday but got that on the first frame too, I'm on a roll!
  15. I enjoyed it 🤷🏻‍♀️ enough to watch it twice at the cinema (which I don't think I've ever done before), just watch my best friends reactions to it.
  16. I'm with you lot on this one. I really enjoyed the first two seasons and it's been downhill from there for me. New season is boring, the casting is terrible except for Diana and I'm just watching it now to get it off my list.
  17. Yeah I almost watch everything with English subs. At some point something changed, I don't know why it's become the norm to just offer closed caption as the only option these days. I've gotten used to it for the most part but I feel your pain! And yay, so happy you enjoyed Kleo!!

  19. Oh man, that's a fantastic line-up. Very jealous! Lacey Sturm being back with Flyleaf as well, what a time to be alive my inner 16yo-emo rejoices
