  1. Someone's gonna capture it, right? I just moved to Bournemouth and there's a destinct lack of BBC Scotland down here. There is an RBS, though: I sit outside and stare at it on rainy days and miss Princes Street a wee bit less.
  2. What a silly sausage. A big part of the Revolution controller will be it's adaptability. Many games will come with cool crap to plug into it. I full expect Samurai games to come with a cheap plastic handle to slide the wand into, and a rather nice Lightsabre handle for the inevitable Star Was Arcade port. People can stick whatever they want in there, and Nintendo will welcome it: As for faceplates, I think people just aren't willing to try it after the jaguar. As he says, maybe in 5 years.
  3. Crystal Chronicles was fucking shit, and I dread to think what kinds of game would need three screens.

So it's out, and it's ace.

    Scummvm Ds

It's easy: 1. Use Wifime/Passme to run special firmware-update program. 2. Program says "close the ciruit now" 3. You open the battery pack and put a screwdriver/pin/whatever in the right place 4. It updates while you are making the connection. If you break the connection it pauses. 5. When done screw battery lid back on and reset. 6. DS no longer has startup screen, backlight fades in cooly, and you can run NDS files from the GBA slot without Wifime/passme, as well as running unsinged code over the air instead of just Nintendo demos.

Yes, unless you have a friend with a flash cart cos then you could just mod your DS to play it over-the-airwaves with WiFime.

    I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet. http://www.edenglen.demon.co.uk/scummvm/ http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=5307&start=45
  8. Surely Mercury won't flibble-wobble without the... oh. So do you plug in a flibble-wobble to play Mercury? Or is the flibble-wobble not available?

    Kirby

I always wanted to play Kirby 64. Well, for the last 2 months anyway. I will probably grab that Kirby going for 13 pounds, thanks: PayPal just swallowed my money for buying Nitrous Oxide, even though it's a completly legal product for whipping whipped-cream! It's not my fault that it's also laughing gas, and that I bought 400 cartridges

    Kirby

The DS SNES emulator is getting better literally every day, it has perfect SMB now, and Earthbound is 99%. I look forward to play all the SNES kirby games :>
  11. I love you Kelly, but you're a man.
  12. 15. We can have proper arguments. She's a Nintendo fan and I grew up with PC adventure games. It is... strange. She introduced to Mario Kart 64 a couple of days ago; first real fun I've had with a Nintendo product, not counting Kirby.
  13. This makes modern consoles uncomfortable; if a machine can be opened without resetting it's a jump forward for piracy.
  14. Pokemon Red you blue fag0ts. Fire Emblem and Ninja Cop have treated me really well, and Ninja Cop will have its special place in my heart until I die. Such a shame it's so unknown, but at the same time that makes it damn special. I'll be doing a full video-review of it soon for GBStv, I'll keep you posted.
