Well no, if there was an ad break on a music channel then you'd change to another one. ... You're confusing me now. Anyway, I'm lying a bit because all I do from channel 440 onwards is cycle through and say 'shit, shit, shit, adverts, shit....' etc. But it wastes a few minutes.

It just has to be this- Mis-teeq's 'Greatest Hits'. That looks to be seven singles there, maximum. Almost as ridiculous as The Fugees' one from a couple of years ago. Once upon a time it seemed to be only bands who had released 5+ albums who got around to one of these... or is that just my rose-tinted contact lenses? If anyone can think of one that's more pointless than this, I'd love to see it.

This was actually the first game (along with Burnout) that I bought for my PS2. Bizarrely, I decided on it without knowing any review scores for it or anything, which is VERY unusual for me. I did like it, but it's so slow. I think I must have only got about halfway through before getting bored.

The best thing about having Sky is watching music channels during ad breaks. I don't watch a whole lot, to be honest- football, the odd bit of wrestling... Simpsons is always a good way of wasting half an hour, too. And as has been said, Soccer AM. It's like a (vaguely football-related) spiritual successor to the Big Breakfast.

Maybe the 'following instructions' was a tad OTT, but I agree with Pete - I never paid too much attention to commentary until I played NBA 2k on DC. After that, I realised football games were light years behind. It just sounded so... flowing. Sorry to be patronising, but that sounds awfully like you're not letting go of the sprint button.

Did anyone watch Jake 2.0 on Sky 1? I think it was cancelled about halfway through the first series, but I really liked it for some reason. Typical cheesy US action-y stuff, and 24 makes it look amateurish, but I thought it was quite good. Although I did spend every episode saying 'don't take that from him! You're a fucking machine, tell him who's boss!' ... Well, I know if I was super-human I wouldn't be working for some shitty security service and taking orders from clueless dolts like Duarte and that other bird.

There should be a couple of clues for you there. There's no point developers wasting time on online content just for the sheer hell of it, especially as I'd imagine very few people used things like the scoreboards. And 'downloadable content'... well, don't get me started on that.

What the hell is going on there?! Anyway, Neighbours has been great lately, the bits that make you cringe are what it's all about. Like the other week when Boyd is talking to Stingray at the skatepark and he says, in a manner that shows he's clearly uncomfortable with the line, 'man, that was sick!'. And Boyd 'dancing' with Serena in that hall thing. Classic, although not quite as good as Jack's. Also Serena is looking 'maaaghty faaahn' lately. I would anyway. Has she just turned 16 or what?

The sequel is faster in singleplayer. I definitely think the tracks are better, too. Although why Jam changed to being of afro-caribbean appearance is anybody's guess.

Your wildest dreams happened about seven years ago then. Snowboard Kids 2 ring a bell? Edit: I would just like to add that Snowboard Kids is the best multiplayer racing game in the history of ever. No, really.

But if you're going to release the same game with a different title, can you still expect it to receive a 10/10? If everyone's seen it all before, it stands to reason that it won't be as enjoyable.
