  1. 🕹 High Score Day #105 - https://highscoreday.com Didn't guess the second
  2. I've been told not (it's still on my to play list) but maybe @Bennycan confirm. I'm intending to do a full Yakuza playthrough soon which is why I've not played it yet tbh.
  3. @womble9 glad you figured stuff out - sorry about the crutches Sounds like the perfect excuse to get back into JRPGs... I'd recommend Dragon Quest XI or Yakuza Dragon over Edge of Eternity though
  4. 🕹 High Score Day #104 - https://highscoreday.com Tough one today. Never realised 3 was so bloody, 4 I perhaps should have got, 5 is a terrible oddity that I keep on meaning to play but the system needed is a faff.
  5. @womble9 thanks for sharing that Really enjoyed that personal story and totally get where you're coming from. Skies is a real outlier in the Dreamcast lineup tbf. Just added a bunch of DC games to my Retroid Pocket 2+ and noticed how few JRPGs there were. Edge of Eternity can't hold a candle to it in terms of charm or character. It is better than the tutorial makes it seem but really aimed at genre fans.
  6. 🕹 High Score Day #103 - https://highscoreday.com Some gems there - and number 3 too.
  7. 🕹 High Score Day #102 - https://highscoreday.com Religion clearly not my forte Knew 3 but sleepily spelled it wrong
  8. Fair enough. It is a particularly stellar example.
  9. Love me some Skies - just confused at the disconnect between the avatar and not being a fan of the JRPG genre!
  10. But, but, Vyse is your avatar...
  11. Mine is still Play with Friends today. It did disappear for a bit last night which made me wonder if they were ending it due its ridiculous generosity.
  12. Finished Isle III and am now all out of swears at the
  13. I bounced off this back at launch but am reviewing the DLC and got properly hooked this time - to the point where I've been neglecting the bit I'm supposed to be reviewing! The new character is great but not that balanced for all the bosses. Makes some trivial and others unnecessarily hard with the different parry mechanic.
  14. Was the same until I used which made it much easier. Had to farm coins from the DLC parry challenges to afford that, mind you...
  15. 🕹 High Score Day #101 - https://highscoreday.com
  16. I agree. The trouble is that isn't a starter enemy. It does the generic losing cause beginning so that enemy only shows up there for the sake of the tutorial. It would have worked much better to just ease the instructions in through the standard opening but I think the devs were responding to early access players asking for a tutorial. Don't blame anyone for not persevering though - it's a rough old start.
  17. Edge of Eternity is not that bad but is a very generic Final Fantasy-alike. The tutorials are awful which is a shame. The devs actually added them in after a full build was available on PC via Early Access so I hadn't played them until finishing the main game.
  18. 🕹 High Score Day #100 - https://highscoreday.com Relatively easy one for the century tbf.
  19. 🕹 High Score Day #98 - https://highscoreday.com Back on track
  20. 🕹 High Score Day #97 - https://highscoreday.com Right series, wrong game for 4.
  21. 🕹 High Score Day #96 - https://highscoreday.com Same mistake here.
  22. 🕹 High Score Day #95 - https://highscoreday.com 5 is one of the more interesting horror games on it's main format but nobody bought it Couldn't place which of the series 3 was as they've all kind of merged in my mind.
  23. Still using Age of Empires idling in a multiplayer lobby. Didn't work for a couple of days but back online now. Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite work well too but are much bigger installs Gave up on Human Fall Flat as I kept getting kicked from games.
  24. 🕹 High Score Day #94 - https://highscoreday.com Recognised all of these pretty quickly today - helped that I had played them all
  25. Back in the day, that'd be 20 minutes on the Gauntlet machine in the chippy 80s nostalgia hitting again.
