  1. Download tennis, because I thought if it’s even half as good as Virtua Tennis it’ll be worth having. So anyway, it’s not. It’s utter, utter shite.
  2. Totally this. If it’s not wireless, it needs a single USB-C cable that plugs into the front of the PS5 and nothing else. I sold my gen2 PS VR headset a couple of months ago and it made me sick to the stomach the amount of wires and cables and boxes it had. Couldn’t believe I willingly put all that shit behind my TV unit.
  3. I saw an argument that Microsoft should bring Xbox Cloud to the consoles so they can open a game for the Rewards points without needing to download it. EDIT: Love Joe Pera though. Still need to watch season 2 actually.
  4. The weapon durability is an odd one. I didn’t like it at first, but overall it forces you to use different weapons rather than stick with your favourite, and it gives a reason to find every chest and secret area because you end up with a cool new weapon rather than a bloody red rupee. So I’m in favour of it.
  5. Yes. And that sentry gun scene is boring af.
  6. FUUUUUUCK. What’s this, DLC? Sequel? Either way I’m all over it. Outer Wilds is one of the best games I’ve played full stop.
  7. Had a go of a different game earlier and I held L to move the camera
  8. I wouldn’t necessarily judge the tone of a movie from a trailer though. You can make a film look like any genre if you cut the trailer in a certain way, and they’re just going with the tone they reckon will fill the most seats. We might even get another trailer leaning more on the comedy side, if it does have some.
  9. Nice! I’m going to upgrade my PS5 internal drive to 500GB.
  10. OK, here’s a thing, the release of all the ghosts in the first film (and those weird purple laser things) was like a catalyst for Gozer appearing at the top of that building. I guess the same will happen here? It wouldn’t need to be the containment unit from the first film either, as they had one in GB2 and presumably after that too. Although it does seem odd to bury it near to the house he’s leaving to his grandchildren. Interesting idea though.
  11. This sounds likely. They didn’t ‘catch’ Gozer though, did they?
  12. There was always something slightly whiffy about Sky One. Like, I was instantly suspicious of any new TV show once I discovered it was on Sky One, so this is way overdue.
  13. I was a little ‘meh’ about this at first, but after a second watch I’m feeling a lot better about it. It looked like it gave the whole film away, but most of the footage is clearly from the first act. One issue is that it doesn’t look like a Ghostbusters film, it looks like a modern, flashy, JJ Abrams-style version, and I don’t believe the Egon from the original films ever existed in this world, never mind leaving puzzles for his grandchildren to solve (what?). But I missed the reveal of Ray the first time for some reason, and seeing that went some way to planting it in the GBCU™. The nostalgia level is high, but then it’s only nostalgia because it’s been so long since GB2. If this exact film came out 5 years after the last one nobody would think any of it. Using props and characters from the original film is what you expect in a sequel, and it wouldn’t be a GB film without it. Totally fine with that, and it’s nowhere near as bad as shoehorning Dana Barrett’s involvement into the sequel. Looking forward to Paul Rudd sharing a clip on Conan.
  14. Yeah, the effects are spot-on in my eyes. They look remarkably similar to the originals, and still look great, which shows how timeless the original effects are.
