  1. Yeah maybe facepalm wasn't the right reaction - I found it hard to watch, and Kiryu afterwards saying he saw what was happening - WTF
  2. Just had the pleasure of the Saejima and Haruka scene in Yakuza 4...
  3. You also need to be doing the Rewards stuff through your web browser - daily quizzes etc. There’s a Chrome plugin someone posted here a while ago that will do all your daily searches
  4. Yakuza 3 - Finished! Didn't love it. Felt the pacing was all over the place and the combat felt like the CPU was just holding block the whole time. Just blasted through the main story. Some great moments though, anikiiiii!!! Yakuza 4 - Feels a bit closer to 0 in look and feel, and combat is an upgrade from 3. Loving the expanded Kamurocho. Chapter 1 and just hunting for sub-stories so signs are good EDIT - missed this in 3 - the massage parlour mini-game!! WTF
  5. I've been playing through these for the first time on Game Pass. Here are my deep thoughts so far. Yakuza 0 - What a game! Yakuza Kiwami - Felt like a short expansion pack to Yakuza 0. Fine but forgettable, and 'Majima Everywhere' is weird Yakuza Kiwami 2 - What a game! Ragdoll mechanics! But 30 FPS was annoying at first Yakuza 3 Remastered - Just started this but weird to go from Kiwami 2's engine to chunky PS3 graphics and menus. But 60 FPS is welcome. Kiryu, Sayama and Haruka's character models look completely different, and combat seems like a step down. Do I stick this one out? I've heard such mixed reviews. I'll give it a few hours...
  6. I have a 14 day Game Pass trial for new customers if that would help change your mind
  7. it should be one of the first tiles on your homescreen
  8. Comcast own Sky these days. Peacock is Comcast’s streaming platform in the US, also built using Now TV’s platform and is apparently awful
  9. Same, I blasted around London for an hour and deleted it. Whoever decided that the 2nd thing you do in the Campaign is walk around a server room as a spider needs their head checking. 30fps and it feels a bit generic open world game, I’m out
  10. After seeing all the Rise talk I've just seen this is on Gamepass. How does it perform on the Xbox Series consoles? Never played any MH games
  11. Empty inventory into item box, fill out with Staminan Royale, change difficulty to Easy
  12. It gets better! I recently started Yakuza 0 and spent a good 45 hours on it, and probably could've easily spent much longer. I've just blasted my way through Kiwami (a much smaller game) and looking forward to ploughing through the rest on Gamepass!
  13. I’ve had near enough the same experience. I picked up a Switch with this and Mario Odyssey a couple of years ago, blasted straight through the Mario story, but always had issues coming back to BOTW because of weapons breaking and all the backtracking involved. I can see it’s a great game, but if I had a beast of a PC I’d be emulating it with weapon damage off
  14. I have a mechanical HDD hooked up to my Series S in energy saving mode, the disc access light stays lit when it’s powered off, but no issues with the TV switching. I have disabled HDMI CEC though
  15. I got a Series S a couple of weeks ago (only have a 1080p TV) with Gamepass and think it’s the best console I’ve ever had
  16. Thought oh I'll just quickly check this out... 2 hours later CRAP I HAVE TO WORK
  17. 50hz only in PAL-land too, what a let down
  18. @stoofle thanks getting ready to come over!
  19. Go through this thread, add recommendations to your list, watch them. Continue watching the ones you like. Watch the algorithm improve
  20. Star Fox 64, 1080 and Ocarina and Majora then we're golden This is interesting. How long were the Wii and WiiU supported online after their demise? It's a shame you can't buy the SNES `app` including the games for a nominal fee. Even £20 to guarantee future access
