  1. Here's another one....I put the second bit in bold just for you Sprite
  2. Ahh OK. Yeah, sure it will reduce sales. But then, at least they are trying something different you know. At least they are giving it a go - I think it's harsh for people to slam the game because of the multi-player slant, when it's the very core idea that the game was developed around. Would the game have received less criticism if they had just left the single-player stuff out totally do you think?
  3. Would that be one for Pope, and one for eBay by any chance PS Will you sign mine too? Pretty please EDIT In fact, do you do signed photos? 'Glamour' shots perhaps
  4. I disagree I bet you that the majority of people who buy the game will play it in multi-player mode at one point or another. Just because you can't/won't, don't believe that nobody else can/will.
  5. Then the marketing man in me says that Lord Brockett should be signed up to endorse Pillage quick!

Didn't they deny that a GC version was coming right up until release for both of the other versions as well anyway? I remember one of the developers posting on Edge denying all knowledge of a GC version, only days before it was announced. It wouldn't suprise me if a GC version appeared eventually.

Step back a moment. Before you physically ordered the GC version, were you interested in Sonic Heroes the game? If you were, then you were interested in a game that was available on PS2/XBox/GC. You would therefore be lying if you said: "There has not been a game on PS2 that has interested me since Fantavision" Yes, you eventually purchased the GC version, but also yes you were interested in a game which was available for PS2/XBox/GC. -- I'm going for a beer. I'll have a drink for you, and we'll (metaphorically) be friends running through a poppy field in nothing but Little House on the Prairie clothes. I suggest you do the same.

I'd say your purchase of one destroys your interest in the purchase of the other. If by purchasing a game you destroy your interest in it, I pity you.

I think if you actually went out and bought it, you'd do one and then the other. Not sure which order though

Story-telling more like Honestly, go back over the entire thread and if you find one instance of me either "over-reacting" or "demanding", quote it. I think you'll be surprised. On the "over-reacting" front, you are looking for stuff like this:

I'd personally prefer it if you didn't totally make stuff up and paste my name beside it thanks.

That's right, I was the one throwing the "fanboy" comments around

And that is obviously where we differ, as I just don't see that at all. To me, if you buy a game you are "interested" in it. If that game was available for Format X and Format B, you were interested in a game for Format X and Format B. You will choose to buy the game on one or the other, but it doesn't change the fact that the option was there. Any other way and the following statement, as you assure, becomes "fact": "There have been no games that have interested me on my XBox, but boy is the PC rocking right now as I just bought HALO and it rules."

No, no need to lie, just say exactly what you just said. That makes perfect sense. It's a million miles more descriptive that your previous post.

How can you not understand!! Look, if he wants to buy the games on format X that's his decision. Christ, I buy stuff routinely for my XBox as I presume it to be the best version. But, that doesn't change the fact that if I am interested in a game like BG&E, it's available for all three formats. BG&E, a game he was interested enough in to purchase, was available for PS2/XBox/GC. So tell me, how can you explain the following (which is what you are apparently trying to do while throwing fanboy accusations at me): I am not interested in BG&E (GC) I am interested in BG&E (PS2) Obviously once you have bought the game for your PS2, you are not going to go out and buy it again for your GC. But, it doesn't change the fact that it was a game you were interested in, and it was an option to buy it on the GC. Christ, get over your unatural urge to label me a fanboy and you might see my point.
  17. And there was me thinking that your defence for playing an illegal ROM was that you were going to purchase it anyway.......

wtf? What's that got to do with the price of daffodils? I'm not arguing his right to buy games for whatever platform he wants to. I'm arguing that you can't complain there is "nothing of interest" to buy on your poor old GC one minute, and then pop down the shop and buy a multi-platform PS2/XBox/GC release the next.

How is it true though? He said "nothing" had come to GC that interested him since Viewtiful Joe...and then admitted to buying both PoP and BG&E - both titles available on the GC. Sure it's his call to buy them for PS2, but it's plain wrong to ignore the fact that they are available (as superior versions I may add) on GC. Tsk, tut, etc. yourself

It's about £25 from places like DVDBO and videogamesplus
  21. rgraves

    MGS:TTS

And that's fair enough - but it means you can hardly wail about there being nothing available for your GC now can you?

Nothing?? Blimey, you do have high standards as you've passed over some classics such as Mario Kart, Prince of Persia, Beyond Good & Evil........

And you've come to that conclusion after playing both extensively of course
