  1. Doc: "Marty, I need you to meet me in the Twin Pines car park at 1am. Bring your video camera!" Marty: "Erm..no thanks Doc"....*click*..."pervert" The end.
  2. I don’t think the issue is with the gate itself. It’s clearly meant as a checkpoint to stop vehicles passing through the valley as a pedestrian could walk around it. They specifically show Obi-Wan going to the trouble of disabling the gate. He can’t power it down with the controls so he shoots the panel. He really must want it down, so you logically assume his intention is to jump back in the transport and drive through, but no he just walks through it. When I watched it I thought ‘well what was the point in that?’ as did many others. It’s very minor thing but the odd logic momentarily pulls you out of the story. There are several scenes which do this and you shouldn’t have to wildly speculate the characters motives to make sense of it. The story should tell you or hint at it. Vader with the fire was very odd and again it pulled me out the story. I am enjoying the story regardless, but cannot disagree with some of the criticism here. It doesn’t feel nitpicky. I think there are some issues with this show that could be easily resolved. It feels rushed and it’s a real shame. I really enjoyed Mando but thought Boba was pretty poor too. The quality is taking a dip.
  3. Finding it hard to disagree with all of your comments. I enjoyed it but...
  4. This. It looks like something from RLM's Best of the Worst
  5. I think we have a winner. This was my guess too.
  6. I noticed this too, and I can’t even recall the last 3D film I watched at the cinema. I can understand it with IMAX as you would use the cinema’s glasses, and with Covid I could see that being an issue. However, with the usual Real 3D screenings you take your own £1 glasses so I guess it’s just dying out. I can’t say I miss it that much. I had a 3D telly but when it went bang I just replaced it with a normal OLED.
  7. I’m not sure what to make of that, but I’m in!
  8. Wow. I didn’t pick up on that at all on first watch, but rewatching…yes CGI.
  9. I’m by no means a huge Beatles fan, but I enjoy their music and I’m really enjoying it so far as the process is fascinating to watch. I really like seeing and hearing them just sitting together, chatting shit, playing and working things out. It’s great. When the audio doesn’t match I do find it a little jarring. It’s almost like they’ve got sound-a-like voice artists to overdub the visuals but that’s probably because I’m less used to hearing John and George speak rather than sing. Ringo however is embedded due to my son going through a classic Thomas phase
  10. Yeah this does look good. Bearing in mind it's only Sep and there's still a bit of Summer sun still in the sky, it's the first Christmassy thing I've seen that's given me a nice little twang of Christmas spirit. Even if it is too bloody early
  11. Also interesting that they used another piece of software (Respeecher) to artificially create a young Mark Hamill’s voice. This was based off feeding in lots of archive recordings and other sources. Didn’t even know that tech existed. For me it didn’t 100% sound like him though.
  12. Yep, I used a code very kindly donated by another forumite. When they called I just validated the code and then confirmed my delivery address for the goods.
  13. I got a call from Curry’s but about week later than the 7 business days they stated. I alternated reading out parts of the code with the person on the other end, so we validated each other if you like. No email, I received a call on my mobile from ‘no caller id’ which I wouldn’t usually answer but I’d heard that’s how it comes through
  14. Hopefully both are co-operative play?
  15. Yes this should work. I created my son a local account to play Miles Morales. He can access the game although installed under my profile, but has no access to my saves and vice versa. It was like loading up the game for the first time. The saves are local instead of cloud as his account has no PS+
  16. https://www.very.co.uk/playstation-5-digital-console-with-optional-extras/1600549412.prd?utm_campaign=other&awc=3090_1622015815_87e6bca7e85fc72cddfb8b85460eb0e6&aff=awin&affsrc=429199&cm_mmc=awin-_-429199-_-Contextual+Targeting-_-0_0&utm_source=awin&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_term=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hotstock.io_429199&utm_content=na Very stock
  17. Haha my wife has her toys, I have mine I’m pretty sure this isn’t going to fit in the unit my PS4 was sitting in, so I’m glad this thing is white as it’s gonna have to be out on display. Haven’t told my wife yet
  18. I hear ya. I’ve always waited a while before picking up a console and by then been able to pick up the top tier games really cheap. I’ve been caught up in the hunting bug too but have a couple of PS4 titles to get through which I can enjoy before splashing out on some new PS5 games. Although I must get Miles Morales as my son is mad for anything Spider-man related. I’ve finally just got the call from Currys so my PS5 is on the way. Thanks again @Gigawatt
  19. Got in, but gave up fairly quickly. It kept coming up that I'd try to add too many items to basket (despite having nothing in my basket) then when it decided to actually work, most of the bundles I was prepared to buy were out of stock. Decided not to waste any more time. Good luck to anyone else trying to get one.
