  1. We're moving house soon, and will have a garden office - so obviously, the first thing going in there is an arcade cabinet with an emulator that can play most games up to the mid-90s. Can anyone recommend a good company for MAME arcade cabinets? Ideally not self-assembly - I am very lazy.
  2. I'd like to get UHD Blu Rays of the original Star Wars trilogy and Rogue One, but don't want to pay £200 for the box set as I'd never watch the prequels (and it doesn't include Rogue One). I've only found one place selling the standalone versions in the UK - https://www.coolshop.co.uk/product/star-wars-episode-4-new-hope/234CT6/ - has anyone used this place before? Are they any good?
  3. I did consider that, and I love Hans Zimmer, but Wallfisch is definitely credited as co-composer on BR2049 so I decided not to. For reference, it would put him in equal 6th place in the artists list. To continue down that road, I'd have to go through the songwriting credits for each album and assign partial credit to artists who feature elsewhere etc etc...
  4. And here are all the albums with more than one vote, sorted by votes cast and then points (I'm going to listen to everything in here that I've not heard before!) Rank - Artist - Album [Total points] [Total number of votes] 1 - Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool [70] [6] 2 - Boards Of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest [57] [5] 3 - Aphex Twin - Syro [43] [4] 4 - Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy [36] [3] 4 - Arcade Fire - The Suburbs [35] [3] 4 - Phoenix - Ti Amo [33] [3] 4 - Kelly Lee Owens - Kelly Lee Owens [29] [3] 4 - Cut Copy - Zonoscope [6] [3]

  6. I've updated the Jon Hopkins duplicate - it puts him in joint 10th place, a bit of a jump from 58th and 169th!
  7. Thanks for that - it puts Singularity in 13th place. I'll hold off updating the list until later in case any others show up.
  8. Thanks to everyone who took time to think about and post their list for the last decade. It took a bit longer than I hoped as somebody really went to town on screwing their list formatting up, and I didn't notice until I was halfway through sorting and deduplicating everything! I'll be watching you like a hawk next time. I've posted the whole list here - there were 434 albums voted for in all. If enough people want to query the results or look at the raw data, then I'll upload the spreadsheet. I usually miss some near-duplicates or votes where someone got the artist and
  9. It was fun coming up with my list, I really enjoyed it! If anyone hasn’t been able to get their list in tonight, I’m happy to leave it open until tomorrow evening when I’ll try to do the results.

  11. A quick reminder as there's less than two weeks left - the poll is open until 16 February! You don’t have to have 20 albums - your vote counts, even if you have just one album you’ve liked from the last decade. https://www.rllmukforum.com/index.php?/topic/314473-rllmuks-favourite-albums-of-the-decade-2010-19-list-thread-open-until-february-16/
