I'm just glad the intervention has had an effect. -
Cautiously optimistic about this now.
-
Yeah, totally agreed. This has become 'must see tv' in a very real sense. Watch some of the clips (actual segments, for a change) on youtube if you're still unconvinced.

One long, beautiful goodbye.

"Nuclear" was never more poignant. Do me a favour, and spend some time with this, rllmuk bros. I'm no conspiracist, but it seems to me that he saw this bullet coming. "Nuclear" Standing on the edge of the crater Like the prophets once said and the ashes are all cold now No more bullets and the embers are dead Whispers in the air tell the tales Of the brothers gone Desolation, devastation What a mess we made, when it all went wrong Watching from the edge of the circus For the games to begin Gladiators draw their swords form their ranks for Armageddon I'm nuclear I'm wild I'm breaking up inside A heart of broken glass Defiled Deep inside The abandoned child Standing on the edge of the underworld Looking at the abyss and I'm hoping for some miracle To breakout, to escape from all this Whispers in the air tell the tales of a life that's gone Desolation, devastation What a mess we made, when it all went wrong I'm nuclear I'm wild I'm breaking up inside A heart of broken glass Defiled Deep inside The abandoned child I'm nuclear I'm wild I'm breaking up inside A heart of broken glass Defiled Deep inside The abandoned child

Romero's somewhat-obscure cult classic Knightriders. First saw it many years ago as part of BBC2's Moviedrome season, and so it seems fitting to include the introduction by Alex Cox. http://youtu.be/gOFLTEQ_0KY -
Sega died in 1999 when you didn't support the Dreamcast launch. All subsequent tears are invalid. We live in a hard world now. Thanks much. I've only seen him in GotG and Her, so it's hard to picture him as lean, smart, tenacious Indy. Personally, I'd go with Gotham's Ben McKenzie, but yes, I can see Pratt making it work I guess. Sure.

Cards sound a much better idea, but presumably lead down a slippery path to 'digital cards'. I'll take limited plastic thingys over that.

I got a kick out of The Machine (2013) tonight (UK and US, I think), Clever little slice of British SF, like Black Mirror crossed with Blade Runner, or something. I mean, don't expect too much, but you'll probably like it.

Hyrule Warriors will be my Xmas game. I thank you for your continued passion.

^ Best web series ever. I'm obsessed with this stuff right now. Damn this thread. Every time I see it resurface, I do a little more marine research. BANGERS:

These cats have really captured the feel of taking a new boat on her maiden voyage and seeing what she can do. Love it. (everybody update their links please, scrape the barnacles off)

Smooth waters for the trip down south.
