Friendly reminder that the Blizzcon opening ceremony is free to stream today at 7pm UK time. The WoW corners of the internet seem to be expecting some big announcements, but we'll see. http://eu.battle.net/blizzcon/en/live-stream/

Might finally sink my teeth into Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Never played it back in the day, due to being a horrible person.

Horrible to think that a new generation will decide on purchases based on the opinions of these corrupt 'curators'. I mean, what in the blue fuck is a 'Jim Sterling', and why must I be confronted by him on every log in?

Incredibly weird. If I knew what it was like, I probably wouldn't go back and watch it again. -
Yeah, lukewarm season opener. NFL fans would get more out of it, I presume. Not worried for the rest of the run - it’s always been a bit hit and miss, but when they hit… they really hit.

Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn, directed by the Fast & Furious guy. I'm sure it will be fine.

Awful news. All hope lost.

Do you have any news about my daughter?

Amazon please, Goose. You won't be able to retire, but I'm pretty sure we all have our 3 quid ready and waiting. I want to read this in bed on my kindle, thanks much. -
My only question now is, will MARIO KART BAND be involved with the DLC? pleasesayyes

Fantastic news! DLC I will actually buy, wow.

Must admit I'm a bit of a Tarantino fanboy, and sure the screenplay by itself probably wouldn't win any awards, but I really enjoyed it all the same. It might sound a bit weird, but the cast was more or less in place when I read it (or they did a public readthrough in LA or something), so I was sort of able to picture the actors saying the lines, and it seems fairly clear that he's written certain parts with those actors in mind. The comparison with the Basterds bar scene is a good one - will get unbearably tense at times. I didn't think anything about it was predictable, but as I say, I was reading with a fanboy head on, rather than a more critical one. Once you add another scorching soundtrack, and all the usual cool shots, and homages, I think we're looking at something at least the equal of Django Unchained.

Becoming increasingly upset that I caved and read the script when it leaked way back when. I think it's going to be one of his best.

Happened upon this showreel of new arcade games for 2014, and thought I would share. Mostly shooting/racing/sport stuff, but it's interesting to see what's out there (somewhere) these days. Wouldn't mind a go on Aliens Armageddon!

So I'm sat behind Peter Moore on the way to cologne.

Do you have to chip in for petrol, or does he 'have it covered'? -
Deal of the sale for me has to be Metal Gear Rising for a tenner. I'm roughly halfway through, and it's already one of the best games I've ever played.
-
Wolfenstein price is nice, but I've bought so many games this sale that I can probably wait for the Xmas sale to buy it. Still, the temptation will mount over the coming (drunken) hours.

Vote for Batman if you're not fussed, bat-chums.

Bought the Call of Juarez: Gunslinger + Far Cry: Blood Dragon package at £4.99, which seems like a good bit of business if you ask me.

You can't look up at a screen and do push-ups. You just can't. -

That was wonderful.
