  1. I’m sure you could fill that with milliput (or green stuff or similar). It’ll probably need sanding afterwards.
  2. Despite being a big D&D fan I never got into watching people play D&D but I’ll probably give this a go.
  3. I was quite excited by that but I really struggle to get a good look at the miniatures. The pictures are either way too small or dark against dark backgrounds.

Nice spiritual jazz record for a NZ saxophonist:
  5. Thanks. I’ve never played Pathfinder but I understand it (well 1e) is 3.5bD&D on steroids and I played lots of 3.x.
  6. I’m in for tonight. What’s the game like @Doctor Shark, worth getting?

    New Order

I’m pleased Be A Rebel is a leftover, it didn’t really do much for me. According to an interview with Tom Chapman’s (and Phil Cunningham’s) side project New Order are working on new material: https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/whats-on/arts-and-entertainment/sea-fever-were-deliberately-trying-to-do-something-different-3522105
  8. The problem with the sexual sequel films isn’t Luke it’s the first order being a pale imitation of the Empire and the Palpatine clone.

of course! I knew all that, d’oh.
  10. Posted about James Mtume’s death in the jazz thread but this mix belongs here I think: https://m.mixcloud.com/mixmastermorris/mixmaster-morris-james-mtume-rip/?fbclid=IwAR2XKU1BSPftbjmS66TZVPu_8JQR-vSEoxoReBskuDrdMdLiDFbTZViqgC4

James Mtume died a couple of days ago. Played with Miles in the 1970s and was responsible for Juicy Free, an absolute classic tune.
  12. I’m in. Need to pick spells. Going for Arcane Eye (most Sardan 4th level spells there is) plus one other I think. Was going to pick Control Water but realised I have a scroll of that I can transcribe. Currently thinking of polymorph or Banishment
  13. Thanks. I can dry brush and wash (at least I used to be able to) but glazing is something I’ve never done and am keen to try.
  14. It’s really effective. How do you do your glazes? Paint and water and medium?
  15. Barbarians are surprisingly fun despite not having loads of options.
  16. I can’t believe it’s as long as the other campaigns. The fact that it doesn’t feel like it probably demonstrates how well you are doing. I really like the aspects that hark back to the earlier campaigns, in particular the Kraken who cropped up in Storm Kings Thunder on the gambling boat and towards the end. I’m keen to plough on and defeat the illithid. Sardan is less keen on helping the Bhaalists but it’s an interesting alliance of necessity. Happy to continue with Sardan even though I sometimes struggle with the constraints I have imposed on him (he’s not an adventurer he’s a scholar; no flashy spells; etc). I haven’t quite got to where I want him to be. But I would like to see how this campaign links up to the others and see how the Heroes of the Hall are doing and revisiting some of those characters. No rush though, let it evolve naturally as the scope of this campaign widens. I like it.

Matthew Halsall has done the Spotify Jazz Takeover playlist. I haven’t listened to it yet but as he’s one of my favourite contemporary artists it’s bound to be a must listen.
