  1. Not sure, trying to do some live performan stuff. I need to plan things out beforehand a bit more I think. Mucking around with a Behringer D and a digitakt
  2. I like this new statement though; RCL confirm they're reading the REFUND ME PLEASE list on https://clivehelpus.website/refunds-list and know which of the backers they haven't refunded. Nice to see an endorsement from RCL that this is the place to ask for a refund
  3. Pretty much though small beans compared to saying he's a thief who stole money from RCL
  4. Haha, oh dear. Short but what is there definitely exists.
  5. I just don't think he's all that bright, poor thing
  6. Attempt to make a 303 sound like a trombone
  7. Ha! So my mates did a switch port and remix of their excellent Don't Die Mr Robot. https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/dont-die-mr-robot-switch#game-info And rather nicely they included a few of my tracks under the punfunny moniker of C303PO. There's a soundtrack too. I know it's not that a big a deal but it has put a massive big grin on my face https://infinitestategames.bandcamp.com/releases
  8. Quite like this so far, got the jitters about adding more and ruining what I like about it @Dimahoo For some reason, I can't see any links in your post for the music mentioned
  9. Pretty much similar set of responses in the programming learning thread. I'd engage with it but can't tell if it's a load of nonsense or I'm too thick to understand Got a tr8-s, did a live jam https://soundcloud.com/gyratory/live-jam-tr-8s-octotrack Did some beeping https://soundcloud.com/gyratory/loop-a-day-galax (got to remove that horrible low rumble all the way through) Playing with Renoise, not sure if it's my sort of thing https://soundcloud.com/gyratory/chumpamatized
  10. The Retro YT 'community' is the shittest version of WWE ever. "Oh! No! the Undertaker ripped off Randy Savage's Fat Worm Blows A Sparky playthrough and Abdullah The Butcher is calling him out on it!!!!" The hoohaa is the product.
  11. Tried to do something a bit towering and grand, got bored part way through it went murky, Something Martin Galway-esque turns up at the end
  12. RCL is 25% owned by Sinclair Research Ltd which in turn is owned by a trust that I think Sinclair is the beneficiary of. Sinclair Research doesn't seem to have or had holdings in any companies Levy has been involved in.
  13. Feeling a little empty of inspiration so I just did a beat over a great big sample.
  14. I don't think there's a conflict of interests here but it's pretty clear there was originally an expectation on both sides that this would be an RCL product. It's absolutely the right decision to dump Levy but from those emails the claim that RCL wasn't set up to do this kind of work is weak. I get the feeling Paul feels that's central to defending against a court based COI claim but that'd be a weak defense IMHO. Assuming the posted excerpts are correct and all.
  15. As an aside I absolutely fucking hate the modern day retro scene. It's rife with untrue anecdotes packaged up in shit kickstarters told by bit part players who in a crazy twist are now center stage. We're living in some bizarre alternate reality where those Dizzy games are actually good. It's like the worst ever version of The Man In The High Castle.
  16. And forcing out the people who had any skills related to making this thing
  17. Or say anything on the likeliness of commenting post-Tuesday
  18. "ZX Spectrum in Pixels is the last place to talk about using poorly made products to make money from the rose-tinted nostalgia of middle-aged men!"
  19. Backer pledges are now officially sales. RCL suddenly owe a shit load of VAT Their accounts are due in at the end of the month, this should reflect that.
