This sounds the best yet! Its based around the Pace set-top box that was gonna come out a few years back. You can download all the back-catalogue of Dreamcast games off the sega website. £1.99 a pop. Though all new releases seem to be on this DVD media disk. Apparently the Atomiswave sammy GD-roms are part of the DVD converted games that you will soon be able to play. The pad has also been redesigned. I got one off my mate, who I can't tell you about (for obvious reasons) Instead of a VMU slot it has a mini tv tuner. Fucking wickid.

Idiots. Its a chip that plugs into your PC-motherboard. Takes full advantage of your VGA monitor and Broadband connection. All save games go on the Harddrive. The new games are just old ones put onto DVD's with a few extras and the odd name change to get people interested in the thing. Its gonna rule.

what did they say in their review then? As I said, i havn't read it. I was commenting on Alex W's beliefs. The game is more than likely to be shit, but for the reasons he has stated, the score could (in my opinion) not be justified. I suppose. But the fact remains that I can't imagine the game mechanics being that much different from, say the SNES version. At all. Should hudson be rewarded for releasing the same game every time? because I would say that it was taking the piss a bit. Fair play to them for making a great game, but they can't got, 'well, you liked our game 5 years ago - where's our 10/10 review for this version'? Is it still fun playing the same game over and over with a new graphical update each time though? It’s hard to say. If the game is good to play, regardless of how many iterations its had, should this matter? I mean, if it’s good, its good right? At the same time I agree with what you are saying 100%. I am just not sure if something that is great fun to play, but the only difference from its predecessor is graphics that it deserves to be slaughtered by reviews, because essentially the underlying game is great whatever. Who knows?

Surely regardless of how old a game or its mechanic is, its still good. Also by (*possibly* - haven’t got my sub copy yet) missing out what is the key feature of a game would of course make the review, well, useless? You can't pretend something doesn't exist just because you may think nearly all the readership own it. Its ridicules. The game may well be a steaming pile of crap, but I cannot see any reason for simply avoiding what is a key element of the game, for any reason. If its fun to play, it should get a positive review.

There is so much wrong with that standpoint I'm not quite sure where to start.

For NeoGeo, the boxes. PCengine, the ironing that its not a PC. Its hard for me to say because I have wanted a NeoGeo ever since I looked at the thing. I have one now, naturally, but I always had this burning desire to have one of them in my collection. I think to make it a worthwhile purchase you need to feel the same (for the neo at least) as it is so expencive for the good stuff.

No it's not a godd thing because the more shit you buy the more shit gets made because that's what they think you want. It's horrible to think how much that game has sold just because you can change the spoiler on the car. Opinion is entirely subjective. I don't think its shit. Thus, I play it. I do however think Project Gotham 2 is shit. So I don't play that. Its horrible to think how much that game has sold just because you can drive round in a car.

I would have told him to get NFS:U over Burnout 2. There is a boy-racer inside us all. Not sure if this is a good thing, but I do like this game.
