  1. It was a budget release in the US, not here.
  2. I don't think that's possible but you can go back and fight previously defeated colossi at any time.
  3. Great, I might actually buy one if there were some decent RPG's coming out for it.
  4. According to the preview, it uses not three but two face buttons (for passing and shooting) and one of the triggers (for sprinting), though.
  5. Well, I'm considering buying this too as it sounds like a great alternative to Civ4 and its predictable AI, but I'm having second thoughts after hearing that the game crashes all the time for some people.
  6. It looks great. Bright and colorful like a Mario game should be.
  7. That's certainly an interesting way to design the single player, but it could probably end up being annoying if it means having to backtrack to previously explored planets several times to get back the crystals.
  8. Bollocks. Jungle Beat should've been in there.
  9. I fail to see how you could ever achieve a good high score by scrubbing the screen. You have to be able to connect all the blocks on the screen into one, big chunk and rocket them into space at the same time to get a decent score. It's not as random as people make it out to be.
  10. In the demo level I played, you can only control two characters. There's a bunch of allied soldiers (you can't control them) that keeps running ahead, and you have to keep the majority from dying. Otherwise it's a big, fat MISSION FAILED in your face.
  11. I thought the demo was shit, though. Generic, scripted WWII FPS where you fail a mission if too many of your retarded allies die. Great.
  12. Looks ok. But it'll most likely be average shit like the Xbox MechAssault.
  13. I love this game. It's fun, relaxing and not the least bit frustrating, unlike 99.99% of all the games out there.
  14. I didn't understand the soul-leveling at first, either, but it's really quite useful farming one specific, easy-to-get soul. I'm currently at level 63 and using level 9 bones and level 9 corpseweed mostly (and the Black Panther speed-traveling soul, which is just awesome). Better and less mana-consuming than many of the rare souls are at level 1.
  15. But there is no special edition at all, is there? As I understand it, the regular edition comes with all the extra stuff and cardboard packaging.
  16. I couldn't beat the last boss either. Don't think I had enough mushrooms
  17. I agree that Julius mode rux, but with no proper healing I'm really having trouble beating some of the bosses. Am I just weak?
  18. I'm worried about the multiplayer being hyped so much as well. If the single player is not up to scratch, I will definitely not be buying it.
  19. Currently have Cube, PS2, Xbox and DS. Planning on getting a Dreamcast at some point and a Revolution once it's out. And maybe a PSP.

Boss battles need to be short or at least not require you to repeat the same attack pattern over and over again. Otherwise I tend to hate them.

    The Ds

I use it mostly in the evening, before going to bed. I sleep a lot better after some zombie-slashing in DoS or a quick blast of Meteos. A bit too bulky to carry around in the pocket, unfortunately.
  22. Sorry, this is not my own idea, but there's a new MMORPG out there that tries to do away with traditional MMORPG hacking and slashing, focusing entirely on politics, crafting, maintenance, science and such, while still maintaining a focus unlike something like Second Life. The idea is that you're all on an enclosed human colony in space, trying to survive and deal with the dangers from the planet outside. It's things such as diseases, though, as there's no combat at all in the game. Anyway, the beta is starting feb 1st, and there's still time to sign up here. Really looking forward to it myself.
  23. Will there be splitscreen co-op?
