First things first: see it in IMAX if you can, it's absolutely stunning.

In terms of plot and bad guy, it could have been a Roger Moore Bond movie and yes, it peaks in the middle with the best action scene of the year and by far the best in the series. That Cruise did those stunts himself is pretty damn crazy.

But while if doesn't offer much in terms of plot or depth, it is wonderfully directed. Bird brings a wonderfully light touch to the table, the pacing is great and the action scenes are tremendous. Inventive, wonderfully shot, cut and choreographed and with no shaky cam to give you a headache. It's quite funny at times as well and Paula Patton is a stunner. Characters all get their chance to shine, the music is great and the gadgets are easily the coolest in the series.

It's also not just the Tom Cruise show, there's constant teamwork, more than in any MI to date.

Best in the series by far.

I don't like this game anymore. The interviewing is so random. People who gain nothing by lying and don't look like lying at all are most of the times lying. It's silly and random. And the searching for clues sections are boring .

So are the standard controller controls a lot better than KZ2's?

The slow 'weighty' feeling is gone. It feels more like CoD now, but plays better than CoD and is much more dynamic. Gunplay and sounds are very meaty. Enjoying this game a lot for the moment!

Anyone else experiencing audio problems? When I go from the 3rd person camera view to the cockpit view I can hear popping and cracking coming out of my speakers. Same happens when i'm near an online player who's got a mic enabled. Also will get the popping and cracking sound randomly when driving around. I don't think its my equipment as I only have this problem in TDU..

Did you complete KZ2? Story and characters are indeed not special in any kind of way, but I like the gameplay in KZ. Gunplay is very meaty and the AI is quite dynamic. Feels totally different than CoD which is sooo 'on rails' as so to speak.

I think the only problem with Killzone's graphics is the weird proportions when you compare your character to the items in the world. And KZ2 could have used more variety. Apart from that they're stunnign games from a graphical point of view, but gameplay-wise they don't offer enough for me to spend my money on them. They're not bad games, but they're not great games either. Uncharted 2 is though and it should never be mentioned in the same breath as Michael Bay.

Looking very good. The first Motorstorm still 'has' it, the graphics, now almost 2-3 years after its release are still very impressive.

Rushy, any words on the difficulty? I seem to remember Motorstorm 2 having some annoying difficulty spikes toward the mid / end.

I beat the first Dead Space, but have not watched any of the 2 animated movies. Should I watch these before starting Dead Space 2?

Any chance of this coming out for the PS3? I've got an Xbox 360 but it's on its way out (RROD plenty lately) and I'd rather not buy any new games for it.

Even the non cheating screenshots look brilliant to me Always will have a soft spot for prerendered backgrounds.

Impressive tech demo but, all of it were just game cutscenes...

Impressive facial animations in cutscenes... who cares? Might as well watch a movie then. It's the real time gameplay stuff where it's at and I don't think we will be getting this kind of animation and jazz during gameplay.

So, 6 years in the making and if you go reverse on the track the AI will crash against you, seemingly not knowing you are there. Hmmm, how is this even possible? Ffs.

To those who have the game already. Is it like the previous GT games that in the career mode there are a shitload of cups for shit untuned cars? I'm talking about a VW Polo cup, Nissan Micra cup etc etc.
