    FIFA 09

Ok thanks. How do I set my team to press hard? How do I super cancel? Is there maybe a site which gives the button combinations for all of the tricks and advice on formations and stuff?

    FIFA 09

Just got this. What do people recommend with regards to shooting/pass/lob/through pass assistance? what about all the advanced tactics you can adjust? Worth looking at or better leave on the default settings? how do I configure my team to play a high pressing type of play? just feel a little overwhelmed by everything after years of not playing a footy game
  3. Nope you aren't, Equilibrium is an awful movie. Tries so hard but fails horribly.

Do you play your own games in Manager mode or do you just set tactics and let the AI battle it out?

    FIFA 09

Rather not get the ultimate team mode as i don't like the whole thing with the cards you collect with points. If I just wanna play the default thing how does it play out?

    FIFA 09

Looking for a new footy game to play. I used to play loads and loads of pes (years ago, i think it was PES 2004). Should I get this? What modes do y'all play? Just online or also the single player (is it like the PES master league?)

    Killzone 2

I think you are the problem if you find the game frustratingly difficult on the easiest difficulty

    Killzone 2

I'm not Smitty, but I can tell you that the DS3 is fine for KillZone 2. Maybe at first it will feel a little weird but after a few hours you adjust and you will aim just like you would on the 360 pad. I've had a few 'ooooh' moments where suddenly a tiny bit of a helghast head pops up and I would just move the crosshair in one smooth move, without using iron sights, to his head and proceed to blow his head off.
  11. I would love to have it if you still have it m8

    Killzone 2

Wow. Who would have expected this? Nice to see the game clicked for you
  13. Now that you've played the demo. How are the graphics? I remember when I played the first game on PC I came away absolutely godsmacked by them. It was one of the first games to have high res textures and dynamic lighting etc. Does the engine still hold up now? compared to the likes of KillZone 2 etc? edit: I looked at some screenshots I took of the game during my playthrough on my PC almost 4 years ago and my god they still look so good...
  14. Thanks Uzi, but I have I have loads of 48h trial lying about but that doesn't seem to work either.
  15. Can't seem to find a torrent for the demo Anyone care to help me out? Xxx
  16. Who's the developer? What other games have they made?

    Killzone 2

Was impressed by my squad as well. A lot of times I've been saved by one of them, it's not like in Gears where they are there but do absolutely NOTHING. The music was stunning as well. Really it's a great game. It deserves the high scores it has been getting. Killzone 2 is pure GUNPORN.

    Killzone 2

Stop using the iron sights as much. I only use them when there's 1 inch of enemy head sticking out of somewhere and I need to very accurate. Don't use it for close combat.

    Killzone 2

It's a fantastic game tbh. I'm at the last level and sad that soon the game will end . I don't understand how people who call themselves first person SHOOTER games fan end up not enjoying KillZone 2 :s. There's no other game that does the 'shooting' bit better than Killzone imo. All weapons are so satisfying to use, sound great, are meaty, it just feels right. Love the feel of 'impact' you get when shooting at your enemies. The AI is bloody great too, dynamic, not scripted. Graphics are OK in the first few levels but really become amazing in the last 4 levels, not only technically but also architecturally. The only thing they need to fix for the next Killzone is add in more story, more script so that I end up caring more about the characters and know more about what the hell is happening.

    STALKER

Why won't they port STALKER to the 360 or PS3? I'd buy it, and I imagine loads of other people would do the same

    Killzone 2

It's a good game but it's kinda flawed. The shooting is intense and very satisfying, but I don't feel pulled in by the game and or atmosphere, this is largly to blame because there is hardly NO story, as some people have said, you could play all the levels in whatever order and it wouldn't matter much. Don't get me wrong, each level has been constructed very nicely from an artistic point of view, but the atmosphere doesn't suck you in because quite frankly you don't know why the hell you're there in the first place, who you're fighting against, why, etc etc. The gunplay is very good though, so is the (dynamic) AI. If only the game told a story alongside the fancy graphics and intense gameplay then it would have been triple A, now it falls in a little short IMO.

    Juno

Wow just watched it and thought it was horribly dissapointing. How in the hell did the writer of Juno get an oscar for best screenplay? The scene where Juno visits the adoption parents' house for the first time is embarrassingly bad from a dialogue point of view from Juno, so forced, meh. Why is this labelled as a comedy, I don't think I laughed once Also if Juno is supposed to be this smart, intelligent outcast type of young girl why the fuck did she decide to hump her best friend without using contraception? Just read Ebert's review of this and almost started vomiting, no idea why he liked this movie so much, god the praise he is throwing at this movie in his review is ridiculous, I thought more of him tbh.
  23. Atonement has a stunning long take over 4 minutes that follows the main character around the beach on Dunkirk with a shitload of extra's and stuff happening around them. Brilliant scene from a beautiful movie that seems to have slipped under the radar of many people.
