It's because smooth turning is a huge trigger for VR nausea so we have it default to angle snapping. You can change it back to smooth turning in the options if wish, and adjust the turn speed/angle too.

Yeah I've heard that a couple of times. We kept getting bug reports back about being able to see culled geometry/areas with no artwork when putting your head out of windows/over ledges, so we implemented a game-wide solution, but I think we could've maybe made an exception for the cable car, as the exterior of the car is fully modelled. There is a vignette option in the settings. Maybe it's not strong enough? It's called "Move fade" in the options

I accidentally hit my dog while dancing with the robot in the First Steps app. I'd kicked her out before playing but she managed to sneak back in and lie down at my feet while I was playing. I didn't even notice until my hand rubbed against her during the "get low" bit of the dance This is so nice to hear, thankyou!

Anywhere selling the travel case that might deliver this month? All online stores I can find are saying they don't have stock until june! But I go away at the start of June!

The backpack is simply a convenience measure for accessing items in the level, so you don't have to carry them around with you, or go looking for them if you can't remember where you left them. Items are added to the backpack automatically, so you don't need to "put" the items in. Whenever you retrieve an item from your backpack, it simply teleports from where it was, to your hand, so there's never a copy.
