  1. I remember being particularly excited about us signing Anthony Le Tallac and Florent Sinama Pongolle, I must have been into Football Manager at the time
  2. It's 5 in game hours, not 5 hours of it on your system.

  4. I usually don't game too much over Christmas but this year I'll be doing some Goose Game co-op with the missus. HONK!
  5. It's most definitely a book adaptation, and there's an incredible amount of stories to tell before we get near the events of the Witcher 3.
  6. I'm a little confused at some of the deviations from the books, but I'm sure there's a larger plan and some good reason for them. Despite that, I found season 2 to be great and it's all set up nicely for a lot of exciting events now. I thought Triss was a revelation in this and a big turnaround from season 1, lifted straight out of the books. Sooo many great characters still to come... I really hope they get to see the saga through to it's conclsuion.
  7. I'm amazed there's no option to turn off / limit the combat dialogue, if there's one thing that's going to stop me playing, it is that.
  8. There's some incredibly exotic monsties to use in this, but my go to is Barry the Jade Barroth, whose kinship skill is to turn into a massive show shovel and fling a giant snowball at the monster you're fighting I don't need any others.
  9. Been playing this a lot over the last few days... it's pretty good! I had some reservations initially, I found the contrast in the presentation a bit jarring (amazing cut scenes, character models and battle animation and effects, but poor environments), but I've grown used to it. The repetitive areas and dens were also concerning but I'm hooked enough on the combat and monstie nurturing that that barely bothers me anymore either (I use a stealthy monstie and sneak through a lot of them). I thought I'd struggle not being a big Monster Hunter fan (I enjoyed World and played Rise briefly) and therefore not knowing many of the monsters but that hasn't been a problem, I'd imagine series fans will get more out of that aspect than I have still. The battle system is great, the weapon type and rock-paper-scissors attack type systems work really well in an RPG, and there is plenty of variety in monsters and their shifting attack patterns to keep it interesting. Breaking a monster part and knocking them down will never get boring, and the attack animations are absoloutely gorgeous
  10. I'm pleased this is getting some love now it is in full release. I bought it early last year and was completely obsessed with it, it's so charming and you build such a rapport with your quirky group of characters. As @Wiper has said, it is a far more polished experience now too, I'd highly recommend it to anyone.
  11. I share the frustrations with the final boss, but it wasn't enough to ruin my feelings about the game overall, one of my favourites of the last few years for sure.
  12. Fell away in the rllmuk league toward the end of the season (7th) but hung on to clinch my work league, so pretty happy with the season overall. See you all next year - going to try out draft mode!
  13. Sorry if this has been posted already, but worth a watch for the fans. There's a few minor plot spoilers if you're a first time player.
  14. Apologies to anyone who had Watkins and Maguire, those were my two transfers in so inevitably they were going to get injured, sent off or score an own goal. Still on 71 so far for the week so not going too badly.
  15. I've been using the Omega for about 18 months now and it's been a revelation for me. I'm one of those really fidgety sitters, I move about a lot, I sometimes sit in it cross-legged, I recline a lot when gaming, I push myself up using the arm rests, it's handled everything I've thrown at it so far. It is also easily the most comfortable chair I've owned, at home or at the office.

    It Takes Two

Yes for sure, I paid £22 for the Origin version and I can play with as many people as I like without them needing to spend a penny. Incredible value, really. Now I just need some of those friend things.

    It Takes Two

The section is just incredible, you need to do one small puzzle to progress but the area is absolutely filled with detail and neat little interactions, I spent a good while there with my co-op partner just messing about. The end of that section though, fucking hell One of the best co-op (and just gaming) experiences I've had in a good while and a definite early GOTY contender.
  18. I have KDB as captain and took Stones out this week as he's been in and out, it was inevitable he'd play and score today. Pep roulette strikes again.
  19. Ghost of a Tale is a really nice little game with a lot of love put in to it, I'm hoping a few might be pleasantly surprised by it.
  20. I so very nearly didn't do it. Obviously Stones and Dias would have been in my starting 11 if I hadn't.
