  1. A bit OT, but for fans of the movie this is one of the best mini docs I’ve seen and well worth watching
  2. The first Red Dead Redemption got me through a really bad bout of depression a decade or so. Being able to lose myself in that world was such an escape at the time and I’ve never been quite that low since, happily.
  3. Wouod also recommend Raiden 3. It’s a nice bridge between the style and mechanics of Raiden, 2 & DX and 4 and 5. OT and a little cheeky, but let me know if you stumble across good condition copies if Contra 3 and Castievania IV in that there Japan and would be willing to ship. Been having trouble tracking these down from these shores in decent condition/for a decent price.
  4. Just a boring old list from me I'm afraid. No Super Metroid as I've never played it somehow and definitely no RPG/Strategy games as they bore the tits off me. 1. Super Mario World 2. Street Fighter 2 3. Castlevania SotN 4. Wave Race 64 5. Dodonpachi 6. Metal Slug 7. Doom 8. Ridge Racer 9. Time Crisis 10. Bare Knuckle 2 11. Goldeneye 12. F Zero 13. Soul Calibur 14. Super Mario 64 15. Devil Crash MD
  5. I’d take a Switch re-release of the impossible to get hold of (since I sold it ) and absolutely excellent, Ninja Cop too whilst they’re dusting off their GBA library.
  6. Not even any new roms for Capcom Arcade Stadium.
  7. Watching it in the pub with my Finnish friends. Everyone’s stunned. Come on Christian!
  8. Ahh the old crippling self-doubt. Been there bought the t-shirt on that one. Well you can put that to bed right now, because it doesn’t suck. At all. Your reviews are consistently excellent.
  9. Agree with the above poster. You have a real skill for writing/reviewing.
  10. They’ve also sorted out the stuttering and aspect ratio issues which hampered the Switch version.
  11. I worked at EB when this came out and do remember it being inexplicably popular at the time. Teenage me used to call it pantsdemonium (LOL) whilst encouraging everyone to buy Symphony of the Night instead, which would inevitably be returned because it looked ‘old fashioned’.
  12. Looks like I’m not the only one prone to repeating myself
  13. I’m currently tracking down Sparkster and Rocket Knight Adventures, so I’m sure they’ll be the next to be announced on the day I finally pick them up
  14. Literally announced on the day I drop £40 on a SNES copy
  15. Let me know if you do. You’ve a bunch of games in that pic I’m definitely not at all jealous of. At all. Nope.
  16. Any lessons learned from the retro brite experiment? I plan on doing my Super Famicom in the coming weeks (once the sun decides to make an appearance).
  17. Bought this on Switch and after the PS4 demo it really is quite a significant downgrade, visually and frame rate wise. If you have both options available, unless handheld play is your main focus of course, definitely go with PS4.
  18. Loving the support people are providing each other in this thread Definitely making it more tempting to jump on the Mister train, when finances allow.
  19. Wreckfest doesn’t appear to carry saves over from the PS4 version which is a shame
  20. Whereabouts is he based? Got a link? Considering getting into Mister a little down the line, when finances allow.
  21. I have a henkaku’d up Vita and a 64gb card. Thinking of moving to SD2Vita though and upgrading to a 128gb and selling the Sony 64gb. Anyone able to recommend a tutorial for this purpose?
  22. Not a City fan by any stretch, but what a second half performance and you love to see petulant teams and players having it stuck to them.
  23. Just sideloaded it onto my Shield TV. Symphony Of The Night in 4K. Ridge Racer likewise with texture glitching fixed It’s great so far, and seems to run a hell of a lot better on Shield than Beetle.
