  1. I go offline for the night and this topic gets 9 pages! I can't leave you lot alone for a second, can I?
  2. Konami has updated the Character page on the website: "you really shoudln't be using an automatic, the way you twist your arm like that, as if to brace for recoil..."
  3. Unless *all* the PSP vids- including the rather spiffing EA one with the "that's PGA Tour PS2, the PSP version can't look that good" graphics- are being mocked-up, then I think the GT4 vid is probably genuine.

    Ash - Meltdown

Charlotte Hatherley- look at the vocals on her! I'm just buying Meltdown so I can see what her Ashdown amp soundslike in a live situation, I'm considering buying one and I need a demo. Oh, and, once again- the TFBM.
  5. Just saw the video- the usual MGS-y characters (including a young version of a boss from a previous game), typically bizzare slant on the technology of the 1960s, and all in all rather exciting-looking.
  6. San Andreas > Vice City > GTA3? Imagine the chases... "It's a 106 miles to Los Santos, we've got a full tank of gas, half a packet of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it."
  7. What the buggary?! Snake needs one of those! I think Kojima's been at the cooking sherry again.
  8. Quite a bit then? I'll get my coat... I personally think you'll just plug some little do-da into the back of the thing and the keyboard will sit seperate from the console, or clip round the back and underneath it. Something simple.
  9. Jetpacks, I've been told. Very James Bond!
  10. Perhaps if you're an absolute spaz. Everyone else seems to have "seen through their web of lies". You sound a bit like Osama Bin Laden their, actually. The evil Sony! They attempt to control the great gaming world! etc!
  11. Yeah, but as stated, if you're in a place where you're bouncing about that much, you probably shouldn't be playing on your PSP... "Quiet love, I've almost beaten my lap record!"

    Ash - Meltdown

Except for Fopp, who do no-quible returns. Library-me-do! I'll give it a listen anyway, then I'll work out whether to bring the love-rocks or the hate-rocks to the gig.
  13. Sony exec regrets hiring XBox designer.
  14. Linkage. Mmm, SPOILERFUL. Thus endeth the spoilers. Well, it looks interesting...
  15. It looks like a piece of transparent plastic filling in for a keyboard! Err, actually, could that be it? The guy who posted the image on Gizmodo doesn't even know what it is.

    Ash - Meltdown

Well, Kerrang gave it four K's, so... Oh God... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  17. Another Ico vote- especially the later parts when you end up in the truely ancient depths of the castle... Halo: the first time you go a-running about in the open after the crash-landing. Spectacular. FF VII: Consistently lovely vistas.
  18. I know, they patched the hell out of it too to stop bunnyhoppers. I'm just saying, will super-real physics change much in a game where you just run back and forth shooting folk and trying to plant bombs?
  19. Wow, HL2 Counter-Strike... the best bunny-hop physics on the planet?
  20. Right, that's it, the cakes have to look like that. Pictures please.
  21. I'm still a bit unsure, I was hoping for something like, I dunno, a graphically-revamped MetalGear and MG2. Still, so long as every turn isn't punctuated by a codec call...
  22. Yep- Nintendo: "Ooooh, oooh, an analogue stick, aren't we clever! Welcome to 1996, PORTABLE STYLE! And now a bizarre game *entirely* based around this new add-on, blah blah blah. Look, it moves up ands down and stuff." Sony- "There's an analogue stick. Or a speaker, I'm not sure which. Oi, Ken, get over here, what's that look like to you? Oh, okay. Now, it plays games too... no, we aren't going to demo it. No, don't touch it."
  23. I want my FUCKING CAKE! C'mon, French Fancies at the least.
