Part of the reason I'm staying away until I hear a few "real" peoples thoughts of the game. The media have bought into their own hype. So much so, that now they have come to review the game they can only give it a high score, regardless of what it is actually like. See MGS4, BioShock etc... etc..

I don't know if this makes your statement true... but.. I didn't not like Portal, I played it over my mates house and wasn't bothered whether I got it or not. I could see why it was a good game though. Nah, I'm right there with you. It was shit...

oh man, this smacks of BioShock. I bought into the media-hype-machine, got it... and it was shite. I'm holding back and see what some of my mates reckon rather than rely on the magazines and such to misinform me.
