  1. I'm a bit disapointed in a lot of BWL from an "interesting encounter" point of view now. For a Warlock it either seems to be run out of your hiding place and throw some shadowbolts run back in, or stand in one place and shadowbolt/wand making sure you don't fall asleep and over aggro by accident. Razorgore, Vael, Nefarian and the trash are fun though, so I suppose it's moved forward from MC
  2. As some of the others here from the guild said if you can make it to our ZG runs, 19:30-23:30 ST on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (sign up on the DKP site linked from our forum) it might rekindle your enjoyment. Learning and taking some first boss kills is far from a grind it's aces!
  3. That's what I call immersion when you start measuring time passed in the real world in WoW levels
  4. I bet they crawled away and made a pact to never mention "The Paladin Incident" again.
  5. Aye improve your demons when levelling up, extremely useful in solo play. And go tailoring so you can make your lovely robe of the void.
  6. Best/worst excuse for being AFK at a boss pull last night. "My mom pulled me away to help her fight Shazzra on her comp"
  7. Giving to a random may be insanity but giving to a guild member is not. I'd much rather give them away and make a friend *very* happy than make some more gold which will sit in my pocket
  8. The one that I couldn't get to because the Warlocks didn't know how to summon? That fell apart predictably. Joined another one later on and actually got there and again failed to summon him... I think we were actually doing it right, ticket to a GM after that one.
  9. and I thought you enjoyed the guild run to UBRS last night, nice to know how much you love us! I love dungeons myself, agreed with the wrong people they can be hellish but I've even started enjoying joining pick up groups of idiots. Sit back, laugh your face off and enjoy the added challenge
  10. If you want to play alliance and you're up for starting again on another server (your linked profile shows you as level 17) then you could give our guild on ER a try. Admittedly the regulars are pretty much 40+ now but if you want a guild with a nice bunch of people in then that's us There's a little bit in the guild sticky about us and a link to our forum.
  11. It's not "dishonourable" it's supposed to be war isn't it? Change your tactics, get organised, get up there and take them out.
  12. The only glimmer of hope for ER is that it gets better once the new servers go online. If it carries on like this there is pretty much no point in me continuing on ER. I've had maybe 3 hours fun in the game this week. If I didn't have a real life to organise my Wow "fun" around then I might be able to take it, but when I have limited windows of time when I can play the game and then find that I can't actually relax and enjoy my free time because the servers are fucked up AGAIN. It just makes the relative monthly cost higher and higher for me too, although they might be funtioning say 90% of the month, if that 90% is mostly when I'm at work or whatever then it's sod all use to me.
  13. All I want from a guild right now is to have a solid group of people there to help me with questions, be friendly and play with for fun. So I don't care much what the name of the guild is, as long as it's full of good people who I might be able to help someday. That's a yes, a merger with more sound people would be good from my perspective.
  14. Bah, all this excitement and I can't join in on the latest version of the game I love(d) the most. There's not going to be a Mac compatible version is there....? I only stopped playing the GC one a few weeks ago for Wow. Anyway to answer a few questions posed above, (sorry too lazy to find them and quote them this early and I need to get back to Wow) Monty did indeed hit 200 last year sometime, although I beat him to it by a few weeks The 'other' cmode team failed in our attempt to do ep2 cmode, that godforsaken seabed wore us out. Some nights we were in there for nearly 2 hours and then got stomped on by Falz. No maps or guides were used in the production of those failures... In fact the whole of ep2 cmode is a bugger, my main gripe was the length of the stages. If they had spilt each one into 3 parts it would have been much more fun. As far as I know the old ep1 and ep2 parts share the same drops as the cube (but don't take this as gospel). As such I wouldn't advise Pinkal even for a Fo, my 200 was Pinkal and it turns out the higher tech disk thing is not true on the GC, all ids find 30s, and I'm not even sure if Pinkal finds higher ones quicker. In it's favour it did find all the Amplifiers and Merges on the cube. Skyly Ultimate Barba Ray finds the Twin Brand with the greatest ease with a 1/7 red plop rate. Apologies if any of the section id stuff above is wrong, I never paid much attention to BB when it was released in Japan since I don't have a pc. Check out Psoworld for confirmation. Have fun all you lucky people, I'll be watching for here for your ep2 cmode tales of adventure.
  15. I can help, 10pm Wednesday is the plan then?

That means you're on Xbox? Most, if not all of the people posting in this thread are on the Gamecube version. There was a thread a little while ago with someone trying to contact people with the xbox version if that's any help. Sorry about that.

No "NOL'ing" now, she is just a cute NPC now and not the phrase of doom she once was. There is a fair bit of cheating about (hacked mags, items like the red ring), but it depends where you go as to how much you see, most people I've met on Arc9 are legit. Nothing harmful as yet for ep1&2 as far as I know. Duping is rife, and unless you only trade with people you know really well or don't trade at all it's pretty much impossible to know if you have duped items or not. And it's still the best game I've ever played

ep2c4 - Wednesday at 9? Here's hoping we will have a better time of it than we did last week or my Wavebird might be finding out how similar to a bird it really is

Never mind, I didn't have the hero like energy needed to do the challenge last night anyway. As an attempt to arrange something further in advance this time: Monday the 19th 9pm? We have yet to get to olga with our team intact, I reckon if he sees all 4 of us he will just get down on one knee and confess his undying love for Monty, presenting us our S ranks on a silver platter.

I'll be on as well tonight, but my conscience is telling me not to have another late night on pso... If we could make an earlier start I can play cmode, otherwise I'll have to abstain until next week. I'll be on from 6pm ish this evening, if possible the earlier start the better for me.

Zak, Kim, Monty - I can do ep2c4 Monday or Tuesday after 9pm. And I'll no longer stick my hand up for the Flint, Cottem, Monty cmode nights - you have no problems finding a 4 do you? Mathilda or Wanda/Hawkwind are probably available more reliably than me. and Bojangle I think there is enough interest in cmode on Arc9 to get you obsessed by it as well. Hopefully we can meet up sometime to exchange guild cards.

No we haven't yet set a time, I can do from 9pm tonight. However Monty and myself would need to get started pretty much bang on 9pm as we have an ep1c6 appointment at around 11pm.

Good stuff, Arc9 is getting nicely populated now. Look forward to seeing you, oh and my main character is Cosina a FOnewearl. As for cmode Olga, I don't think his attacks are too hard to dodge. Annoyingly his minions were icing on tuesday, which makes it hard to run away.
