  1. The most awkward though.
  2. Good race, quite the nailbiter. Great drives by Verstappen and Hamilton.
  3. How much of a step up is the TS-PC from the T300? It looks like the base is available for about £240.
  4. Is there a separate TT mode or is it limited to a weekly challenge type thing?
  5. Tbh it sounds like the sort of thing he might do. Probably something to do with his new rim.
  6. I’m no expert and can completely empathise. It looks like you ran over an invisible hedgehog in the second clip, which of course threw the Merc off.
  7. I’ve just tried again, it’s absolutely awful.
  8. It’s always such an enjoyable listen, great stuff.
  9. This. I think that the specialists are a terrible addition.
  10. I’d go for Hollywood personally. You’ll get to see the first two corners and then all of the way down the Craner Curves. Most of the overtaking will actually be at the top of the circuit, but Hollywood gives you the best overall view. You can always change your position during the races.
  11. I can’t say that I liked much about it when I played last night. I thought the the UI was horrible and the lack of map baffling. The actual map seemed way too big and I think that the near future setting, complete with robo dogs, is fairly terrible. It’s not a game for me, and I loved BF4.
  12. Yeah, the Merc is a bit prone to a sudden loss of grip in high speed corners isn’t it? I did the same thing in quali.
  13. I lost the will / was overly annoyed after the end of straight incident in Race 1 really. I then hit@SneakyNinja a couple of time in I Race 2 (in exactly the same place no less) and quit out of mortifying embarrassment. I can’t say that I had much fun really!
  14. The streams of it look terrible. Proof’s in the pudding I guess.
  15. I love BF but I’m not sold on the idea of characters at all.
  16. After an abysmal quali, I had a really exciting race. I was promoted to 3rd due the first corner shenanigans, however I couldn’t quite keep on Valver’s pace in the early going and a couple of errors on my part didn’t help. The shape of Shark’s Ferrari inexorably grew larger in my mirrors and although he was clearly faster than me we had a good tussle for a few laps. However, I found hard racing and trying to sort out pit requirements too difficult and decided to let him through at Hislop’s lest a lose concentration. After my stop, I came out of the pits behind Winky and we had a good tussle and I finally got the overtake done into Lodge Corner. However, with the cooling temperatures my off side tyres were well under pressure for the rest of the race - I even thought I had a puncture at one point. My battle of the day was then with Valver, making up 5 seconds to hassle him for well over 10 laps. It was a really good fight, each of my laps hindered by my ponderous way of taking the Britten’s chicane. Two laps from the end I got a really good run through Old Hall Corner and down through Cascades. I also think that Valver needed to be a bit hesitant on the throttle and I was able to make the pass on him going through Island Bend. However, that wasn’t then end of the drama, as I then got an unexpected low fuel warning. This slowed my pace whilst I tried to sort out the maths and Valver had a bit of a go into Hislop’s, but he was too far back to make it stick. To come home in 4th was more than I was expecting really, and the racing was excellent. Discord booted me just prior to the start, was everyone else ok?
  17. There were a surprising number of overtakes at Old Hall Corner when we went to watch the British GTs a few weeks ago, which we didn’t actually see because of where we were watching from. Maybe that was in the wet race though, I can’t quite remember. The main opportunity seemed to be at Hislop’s.
  18. The British GT drivers definitely dabbed the brakes for that corner too.
  19. Ha! I get that, it’s just my opinion obviously. As I say, clearly not a game for me.
  20. Yeah, horrific. A comedy band I assume. Bland music aside, the game has just about the dullest imagining of ‘psychedelia’ I can imagine, it’s all very second hand. On the other hand, it’s clearly not a game for me, with barely there mechanics and well-trodden story.
