  1. Wow, that is a really shit move to pull and doubly so to not give any warning.
  2. Looks like it, well three months, not sure I'd want to risk sitting on a one month Now code until June, but it seems people can't redeem Plus codes at the moment. So if you've got an active Plus it might be worth grabbing a Now code, otherwise wait and see what's happening with Plus codes.
  3. That does seem to be the case, quite prepared for something to go wrong though with my luck though.
  4. PS Plus FAQ Not many places have Now but G2A have 3 months for £17.99, which looking at that should convert any current Plus to Premium. Just bought one and it redeemed fine, already had Plus until 24 but may add another year as I'm guessing this might be the only chance at a cheap upgrade as Now cards won't be around for long.
  5. The Gant board marker is working thanks. You can also use Sport Soft tyres, found I didn't need the second tyre change as I did with the inters. Either way it's slightly faster than the old tune for me, so good to know I still have an easy way to grind for the destined to win Le Mans cars.
  6. I'll give it a go thanks, I was stuck at looking on the left for some reason. I tend to be overcautious now, lose time but better than putting it in the gravel, that's what I need to pressure the CLK drivers to do. It's just one of those corners that seems to give me problems no matter what the game.
  7. I managed to do that twice yesterday for the La Sarthe Sport race. Once after buying, then next race only changing the tyres in the race settings so it was back to wets for my third race, annoyingly I started third on the grid. Still, the Nissan GT500 is an absolute joy to drive around La Sarthe, absolutely planted in the corners, just a shame it's got no answer to the CLK-LM on the straights. Arnage though, one day I'll get the braking point.
  8. Tried the new Tomahawk, bit of a nightmare to drive, the car really wants to put you in the barrier down the straights, first corner is tricky but the twisty bits aren't too bad. Race took 22:30 to complete, a tyre change might have helped a bit, thankfully I still got the clean race bonus.
  9. It felt like I needed some spiked snow tires in Spa when it started raining, no grip with full wets. Being able to rent cars for the online is a good addition as it also includes legendary cars, so you can use it as a test drive.
  10. Subaru BRZ GT300, Suzuki Cappuccino and '22 Subaru BRZ
  11. 546.9 miles later, for a while I was .115 off and thought it was the best I'd get, now to see if I can straighten my throttle finger again. When I first did the tests I thought I'd never get all gold so quite pleased with that, should be able to get the platinum at some point now.
  12. I'm 4 seconds off at the moment, fairly consistent at that now. So it's as you say building up my confidence in the corners and slowly increasing the speed.
  13. Spent about half an hour trying to get gold on S-7, could only get within 1.3s so decided to take a break and try S-9. Very quickly I realised I've still got manual gears set, so it's no wonder the Super Formula felt sluggish out the corners it was stuck in 5th. S-9 didn't take too long to get gold so back to Laguna Seca, probably another half an hour but gold by 0.001s, I'll take that. Now it's just the small matter of S-10 for the final license gold.
  14. Talking of endurance races the A220 with this tuning is great for the Alsace 1hr. Used fuel mix 1 for the first few laps to get into the lead, then down to 4 for most of the race which made it a comfortable one stop win. Feels like driving in slow motion compared to the Tomahawk but it's an enjoyable drive.
  15. Yeah, it's a bit fiddly to do, great when it works though.
  16. You can make Tokyo a great (not necessarily the most fun) credit grind with the Tomahawk X VGT. The PP seems to get broken when you alter the gear ratios in a certain way, so you have a PP 595.05 car that nearly hits 300 MPH and can go through the twisty sections at close to 250 MPH, feels more like Wipeout than GT at times. It doesn't seem to matter how many times you tap the barrier you still get a clean race bonus, takes me about 19 minutes for 825,000 credits. Video guide
  17. Just got back to playing this so hopefully the release isn't too far away.
