Cabin Fever: Patient Zero already up in the US if you like that sort of thing.
-
The best Adam Sandler film is also the worst P T Anderson film. Weird.
-
I too would like to boot this film again. And again and again.

Yup, loved it. Dom Hemmingway, (UK), is worth a watch, particularly if you enjoyed Filth. Be warned though, Emilia Clarke's (thankfully brief) singing scene is so bad you will cringe. Also caught Escape Plan on one of the new unblock-us regions, Belgium I think. It was ok.

46 = really old. Jesus -
Filth is excellent and as well as being bleak and grim it is at times (deliberately I'm sure) very funny. It's especially entertaining if, like me, you keep forgetting James McAvoy isn't playing a young Charles Xavier.

Wreck it Ralph up in Sweden

Has a game ever moved you in the way that a great book or movie does?

Special Ops: The Line SoTC L4D: The Sacrifice / The Passing As a general rule games are more likely to make me angry than books or films. -
Stephen Chow's Journey to the West on US Netflix.
-
Burt Wonderstone now on Swedish Netflix. Also noticed Despicable Me, can't quite remember where but pretty sure it was either on either US or Canadian Netflix
-
May be old news but I just noticed Brandon Cronenberg's Antiviral on either the US or Canadian Netflix (possibly both). Already seen it, but definitely recommend. Really seems like a chip off the old block, so evocative of his father's work it raises concerns as to whether he can find his own film making identity, but the body horror here is well done and easily on par with Videodrome and Dead Ringers. Good performances throughout, go watch it.

Console exclusives? Not being a PC gamer that's what it means for me. I try to remember to say as much when I do talk about exclusives, but when the conversation is Sony vs MS in a thread about Xbox One isn't that pretty much taken as read?
-
Good point, well made. I guess I'm communicating my perception of their respective conferences that while Sony won overall MS had a better showing of big budget games.
-
Remind me of the Sony exclusives, and not to be dismissive don't include indie titles - as I said, exclusive game spectacle. Killzone, Drive Club, Knack and the steam punky one. Can't remember anything else. I started the MS conference not expecting much at all and finished with the impression that, yup they have got games. Nothing in particular I want to play, but definitely bright, shiny games. All the ones you listed that is plus Titanfall - is that not an MS exclusive? I said nothing about games releasing in the launch window.
-
Tru dat.Doesn't mean MS don't have more exclusive games in development than they showed at E3 though.
-
It could be that MS shot their bolt at E3, knowing they just had to show games, and now have nothing left in reserve. Sony on the other hand, who were arguably weaker in terms of E3 exclusive games spectacle, have always intimated that they have a lot more to show. Still too early to discount the MS claim of $1 billion investment in Bone games development though. I'm sure they haven't shown a billion dollars worth of games yet.

Until at least PS6.

Once my PS4 arrives my PS3 will be moved to the lounge where it will enjoy a respectable retirement as the main streaming TV/media box cum DVD/Blu Ray player. Problem solved.
