  1. Not an attempt at Canadian humour this time. Just pure amazement at how 2017 has treated our favourite hobby so far. It's mind blowing how many truly amazing games have appeared so far, most of them far exceeding our hopes and expectations. So far we've had (and keep in mind we're only up to March!) this amazing bunch: Yakuza 0 Resi VII Nioh Horizon: Zero Dawn Zelda: Breath of the Wild And bonus very-good-but-not-quite-amazing stuff like Gravity Rush 2, Torment, and For Honor. In just the first three months! With extremely promising games like Nier: Automata Persona 5 Mass Effect: Andromeda still to come in Q1!* In fact, it was @Spainkiller confirming that Nier is way up there with Yakuza 0 and Zelda BotW that made me decide that somebody needed to make this thread. Surely 2017 can't keep this up? Hell, can we keep this up?! Best year in gaming if the rest of 2017 is even half as good as Q1 though. Amazing scenes. I fucking love this hobby of ours. *And Styx Shards of Darkness, sequel to the best stealth game in forever! Maybe that one is just for me
