  1. Medal of Honor: Warfighter by Danger Close http://www.medalofhonor.com Release date: October 23, 2012 INFO IMAGES VIDEOS Videogame titles are atrocious aren't they? Anyway I'm having a bit of a war fighter overload these days but hey... maybe this'll be for the MoH franchise what ACII was to its own series? (announcement trailer inside the videos section)
  2. Another day, another leak. EA uploaded this to Origin by mistake. So (from this extremely scarce information) it looks like it's probably set in a city environment again, but this time he has a bow and arrows! I remember I quite enjoyed Crysis 2, but I find that I can actually recall very little about it apart from a vague memory of it ending on a flying island and thinking that the story went pretty stupid towards the end.
  3. Don't know if this has been posted already but there is a new Mass Effect in-game video. Have to say it looks very promising... http://masseffect.bi.../downloads.html
  4. Link Platinum Games, the studio founded by former Capcom developer Clover, has apparently struck a deal with SEGA to publish three games. Those games are: • Bayonetta, directed by DMC creator Hideki Kamiya, and is described by the site’s correspondent as a “stylish action game” with “a witch battling angels”. Apparently she has guns on her feet. • A science-fiction RPG for the DS called Infinite Line, where you play as a starship captain, customising your ship and crew. • A Wii game called MadWorld. ...it’s, “Black and white Sin City graphics, with red blood. Ultra ultra violent. Fatality moves like shoving a post through someone’s head. Chainsaw on your right arm.” Was a rumour but this trailer for MadWorld here: Here Edit: Trailer for Bayonette: here Looks official, is this a seprate company to 'Seeds' then, founded by other members? or Platinum Games what Seed grew into?

  6. https://blog.2k.com/index.php/home/single/announcing-borderlands-the-pre-sequel The wait is finally over for a new game in the Borderlands universe! We're launching you to Pandora's moon for the first time inBorderlands: The Pre-Sequel, currently being co-developed by Gearbox Software and 2K Australia, and available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC later this fall. Set between Borderlands and Borderlands 2, you'll play as four new characters classes fighting alongside Handsome Jack, witnessing his transformation into the ruthless tyrant you loved to hate in Borderlands 2, and assisting with the rise of the Hyperion Corporation. The signature shoot 'n' loot gameplay of the Borderlands series expands with the addition of low-gravity and oxygen-powered jetpack combat, the icy 'Cryo' elemental damage type, the deadly laser weapon class, and new vehicles to help you explore the lunar landscape. Who will those four new playable character classes be, you ask? Well, they are all familiar faces from the Borderlands universe: - Athena, the Gladiator: Uses her Kinetic Aspis, which is a shield that can absorb incoming damage, then convert it back into energy to use against enemies. Athena made her debut in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC for the first Borderlands game. - Wilhelm, the Enforcer: Wilhelm was previously seen in Borderlands 2 as one of the first deadly bosses in the game. - Nisha, the Lawbringer: The sheriff of Lynchwood from Borderlands 2, Nisha will be dealing out her own brand of justice, which we'll discuss further in the coming months. - Claptrap, the Fragtrap: Wait - Claptrap? The goofy robot companion from Borderlands 2, now playable for the first time? Fragtrap is his character class? Well, you can play him too! In the upcoming months, we'll introduce you to more moon environments, new enemies, vehicles, and…well, we have to save some surprises. For now, feast your eyes on the first images from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, featuring low-gravity combat, cool new guns, and more gorgeous lunar vistas than you can shake a moon-boot at. Then be sure to watch the developer overview video below to get your first glimpse of the game in action. Eurogamer Preview: PC Gamer Preview:
  7. Seems to be Lego's take on Disney Infinity and Skylanders. The game leaked this morning, so WB just confirmed the thing. Polygon has the story: http://www.polygon.com/2015/4/9/8376101/lego-dimensions-release-date-back-to-the-future-wizard-of-oz http://www.lego.com/en-us/dimensions/ Trailer:

  9. VG247 I've been out of the loop with AC games for a while now so I have no idea how this ties in and all that stuff. I always look forward to playing them, the main ones anyway, but never get around to for some reason. I still have Brotherhood to finish and I've got Revelations still in seal lol.
  10. I know there's a thread for Orange Box already but that's just the name for a compilation of games. I really think this games deserve its own thread. Maybe it should be in the Online/Steam folder though? Anyways, here goes.... I didn't get to play the original HL mod much but I managed to put a few hours into it on a couple of LANs. From what I could remember TF was a very promising CTF game and I was very curious about this sequel. Fast forward 10 years (!) and it's here, finally. I really didn't know what to expect from it as the pre-launch teasers made it look like a scripted adventure game or something but this is far from the truth, TF2 is a pure team vs team FPS. I got this yesterday but didn't get the chance to play it much until midnight. Little did I know that the game would suck me in as it did and before I knew it the time was 9am...so basically I sat for 9 hours straight playing an online shooter, this has NEVER happened to me before. What I truly love about it is that every class is really really fun to play, the pros and cons for each class are very obvious and logic which makes it very easy to swap to the correct class to turn the game in your teams favour. Everything feels solid and it's smooth as silk. All the characters are incredibly well animated and detailed and you're never in doubt who's who (class wise) as all classes are distinctly diffrent, this makes it easy to find who to support in a hectic battle. The 6 maps that come with the game are very well laid out. They are easy to navigate through, even for a beginner you'll have no problem finding the enemies documents to steal (TF2s equivalent to flags), the only problem might be getting there Characters automatically thank the medics when healed or cheer when they find some ammo, greet eachother on the battlefield or cry for fallen teammates. Everything is so detailed and charismatic that you really feel you're there, despite the cel shaded universe. This is no doubt the most fun I've had shooting mates since Doom 1 on LAN...a staggering 15 years ago. It's easy to pick up for 'noobs' yet there's enough depth to keep hardcore fraggers occupied. In my opinion this game is worth the price for Orange Box alone, I can't reccommend this enough.
  11. So we don't clog up the Vita thread, I think this amazing game needs a thread of its own for high score talk, table strategy, DLC talk etc. So here we go. Launch trailer P.S. Add me - Omizzay2 on the vita and Omizzay on PS3/XBL for some alright scores. (I briefly led on Theatre after being swiftly overtaken by jonnyalpha on the same day, and currently hold the top spot on Ripley's, though i don't expect it to last).
  12. According to NeoGAF the next-gen only rumour should be taken with a pinch of salt as it's from a different source than the rest.Animated loading sequences, who said they were running out of ideas!
  13. I've been looking forward to this since seeing a preview a while ago. Anyone else like the look of this? Reviews seem positive, and it's out on Xbox Live now so I'd be interested to know if anyone's played it. I'll be waiting for the Steam version out at the end of the month.
  14. It's the wrong Burnout for me and @bignige but I'll take it as a sign Revenge could still happen. Great month:
  15. https://marketplace.xbox.com/en-GB/product/Lost-Odyssey/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d5307fa Posted in bargains but no harm in ensuring you guys see it here. Also posted in the BC thread but someone might call you a cunt there for no reason so this saves you that trauma

  17. This has now been confirmed by a Playstation Blog listing by a Sega rep. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/04/15/castle-of-illusion-coming-to-psn-this-summer/ No word on other platforms, I'd be very surprised if it's not released on 360 at least. PS3,360,PC confirmed

  20. Did a quick search and couldn't find a thread about this so... http://majornelson.com/2016/03/24/xbox-live-games-with-gold-for-april-2016/?linkId=22649091 Xbox One - The Wolf Among Us & Sunset Overdrive Xbox 360 - Dead Space & Saints' Row 4 Decent selection I reckon, loved Sunset Overdrive (and Dead Space back in the day). Will probably leisurely go through Wolf Among Us over time but most chuffed about SR4, loved 2 & 3 mostly for the humour and inventiveness of the mission, better than GTA in lots of ways I thought. So, what you folks make of the list?
  21. Just had notification via Twitter that the Beta is now live on Windows 8.1, so thought it about time for a thread. The XO beta should start in the new year. I have to say this is for me one of the most anticipated releases on the XO, never having done anything like programming before, and looking forward to creating that Epic RPG of my dreams. Bioware beware! Seriously, I apologise for not having any embedded media etc in this OP, I know there are loads of videos out there showing it off, I will try to upgrade from the PC.
  22. I think it's probably best we start a new thread for season 2 players. That way any new players just getting started on season one don't get spoiled.
