  1. This turned up on Netflix yesterday. While I make no claims to it being a great movie (although its enjoyable enough), the subject matter and the way the movie uses it meant my heart was in my mouth pretty much the whole time - it was really stressing me out! Maybe not so much if you have no fear of heights, but if you do, oh boy!
  2. "In the West End of 1950s London, plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered. When world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Sam Rockwell) and eager rookie Constable Stalker (Saoirse Ronan) take on the case, the two find themselves thrown into a puzzling whodunit within the glamorously sordid theatre underground, investigating the mysterious homicide at their own peril." This trailer popped up before the film I was watching tonight and it's the first I'd seen of it. To me the trailer feels like Knives Out directed by Wes Anderson, and I really enjoyed it. Release date is 9th Sept in the UK, so not too far away either.
  3. The boys get sentenced to spend time in Space Camp by a juvenile court judge in 1998. One thing leads to another and they go to space, through a black hole and end up in 2022. Streaming on Paramount+ on 23 June.
  4. https://deadline.com/2020/07/beyond-good-evil-movie-at-works-at-netflix-with-director-rob-letterman-1203001341/ Netflix and Rob Letterman are to make a BG&E movie. He directed Detective Pikachu, and like that, this will be a live/CG hybrid. I wonder if this will make it out before the game sequel.
